    mam what is shunting effect in complete denture

      Hi🌻 If the occlusal plane becomes tipped there will be displacement of denture. this is called shunting effect. If the occlusal plane is lower in molar area, there will be tendency for the upper denture to be displaced posteriorly & lower anteriorly
