  • This entire video was to long to put up as one video, so I had to split it into 2 parts. First part is swapping out the ride height/torsion springs for a heavier set. On our 2014 600 E-Tec Renegade w/R-Motion rear skid, I have swapped the seat to a 2-up seating so to accommodate the extra weight, the ride height springs need to be stronger, so this video shows in detail and as to what is involved in doing this project on both a 2014 600 and a 2012 GXS SE 800 w/pneumatic rear suspension and SC-5 rear skid.
I chose NOT to use my rolling sled lift because the frame of the lift would limit my access to the skid components. I have my greater access to everything when the sled is suspended from the ceiling from the rear bumper. Sled lifts are better used for doing motor work for me at least because of my height.
