I have bladder exstrophy and this is like the first time I’ve got more than the basic information! I’ve also never met anyone with the same condition! I got a bladder augmentation and appendicovesticostomy to make a mitrofanoff done at 15 years old and now I self catheterise through a stoma in my abdomen. I’ve had a long history of reoccurring UTI’s and stones that I need to surgically removed since my urethra is stitched up. Thank you so much for this video!
@@Aimalali20 Really? What is your plan going forward? Apparently once getting a bladder augmentation done, a new augmentation is needed to be done every 10years or so but I already have so much scar tissue, the doctors don’t think future augmentation will hold so now I’m in a bit of a situation! I’m praying that they can come up with an other option before it because too late

Caused by failure of the ventral body wall to close
(i.e. incomplete lateral folding).
Can get plural effusion again after removing it.
