Cleetus has made MASSIVE improvements to his driving skills since he first started drifting.
owning a freedom factory and a fleet of cars will do that to ya. but yes, he is a lot better of a driver. I also appreciate his safety consciousness. Helmet always, proper safety equipment and doesn't complain. I'm sure insurance and what not, but him and his guys are having a ton of fun and they don't have to be reckless to do it. Good on him. It will no doubt influence other people and younger people to be safer in racing and autosport. Have fun, live to have fun again.
Can't wait to show this to my 13 year old grand daughter. She thinks the sun rises and sets in Hailie Deegan, and I am fine with that. The young lady can drive and is an inspiration to girls like my granddaughter. Thanks Hailie, and thank you Cleetus for bring her out.

You could see Hailie's skill when she first got in the 240 by her throttle modulation and brake control, it will not take too much practice for her to be a top class drifter.

Netflix or someone needs to do a doc on him, I know he didn’t come from nothing or anything but he is definitely self made and it’s wonderful to see instead of big money and staged everything.

She's not a good race car/truck driver at all. NASCAR truck series, of the 18 full-time drivers, she's ranked 17th.

I also helped build/test professional race cars for NASCAR, Indy Cars, and NHRA cars. 232 wins, 3 class championships and set the NHRA records and had a fairly successful NHRA team for a few years . What you got, CUPCAKE?
@Zachary Rugar WHY? I've already been there and done that and did fairly well while doing so. At my current age, I'm too old to be driving race cars full-time. I still race a car in the NHRA once in awhile.

Yep, I think a LOT of people don't realize how fast 25 mph seems when you're on the water.
I think cleetus is getting to a point at the freedom factory where he’s done it so many times and just knows ever in and out that he could give some pro drifters a problem on a lay out of the inner stuff and outer banks. I think his drifting skills is one of the most impressive things about his driving. He got good fast.
Seeing the air boat come charging out at the end felt like a Forza Horizon showcase challenge. Where do I sign to have Leroy, Ruby, the Nova, Soccer Mom, and Mullet added to a DLC car pack?

I grew up in Upper Michigan drifting in the snow is like one of the best driving lessons you can get.
I've definitely driven all types of cars in all types of snow and other surfaces. I've never driven a drift car. The amount of control must be so fun. Power to keep the tires moving when you want, but you're on pavement so you also have grip when you want and in the steer tires. Snow is a little different, but good preparation? Need to rip a drift car now.
