I love Yuval, but that tagline about the pigeon and information is so memeable. Doesn't mean it's bad, but almost a self-parody.
I love Yuval. I love to listen his speechs and also reading his works a lot but does anybody find themselves losing his connection with the current way of living or can not find a true mean after understanding all the way we live our lives just coming from some stories that has written by just somebodies before us and we just following.
These feelings just take me to dreaming about living in an some ecovillages.

Sounds like something in the vein of 'The Information: A History, a Theory, a Flood' by James Gleick.
Highly recommended book about the history of computing, information storage and transmission, from prehistoric times and everything thereafter.
