Sounds incredible. Despite there being better engines out there... I need to get one of these into my NA Miata... Nice thing is factory trans and rear end should take it for a little while at least. My standalone won't have a problem running it either, and they're pretty cheap. Just need a custom driveshaft/mounts/lines, easy enough to order the DS, and mounts/lines/cutting I can do. Totally fits the 90s vibe. Miss my LS400s.

very reliable power!! i think this setup could use more cam. and more compression but. its bumped 1 point but was afraid of not being able to get good fuel outside of New York. but if yer not worried about that. then go for it! these are 207-d cams. so you have a starting point based on this. not too many videos and info out there to compare. good luck with your build!!
@@RadicalRevs it’s amazing what your truck is making with 207-Ds and the compression where it’s at! Just shows how awesome these engines are. Your truck with a gnarly cam setup and 12:1 or so would probably shock most people. 380-400hp? Who knows!?
that was insane. I can only imagine what my VVT 2uz would sound like. And I thought it sounded good when you bypass the airbox... My vvt would be so good at those high rpms. The VVT will absolutely punch you in your chest at 3k rpms.
If its an early 1uz it is built like a race motor with forged crank and rods, but it has mild cams, so reving it that high is useless without performance cams.
