It's so refreshing to hear someone actually discuss the challenges they faced in an investment (banks, insurance, seller, engineering/environmental, fundraising...). Thank you for the transparency and for allowing us to learn from your experience.
Absolutely - glad you liked it. CRE investing is definitely not all rainbows and roses and I want y’all to know everything about it 🤙🏼
I cannot wait for this to be completed. It will be so nice to have a fun place to stay in our neighborhood. Good job guys
Thank you, David! Ready to get it back underway. We've been held up in the city with permitting for the last 6 months, but we're hoping to get back to work here soon
We experienced the exact thing with the bank pulling the financing from under us a week out from closing! Again, “preserving” is a solid idea for a hat lol
Haha it’s the worst man, was so frustrating
Awesome! Cottage Park is excited about this!
We’re excited to be next door!
We live in the development right behind this property. Definitely looking forward to the improvements and looking forward to a neighborhood place we can walk to!
Cheers! Glad we’re going to be neighbors 😁
Genius! That’ll be awesome for Dickerson road.
Thank you! My favorite corridor for sure
Hey Tyler. Came upon your videos recently and wanted to say thank you. Your persona is so down-to-earth and chock full of fantastic knowledge. Good luck in your hotel endeavor and please keep up informed on the progress. I am inspired to get into commercial RE due to your videos. It's certainly a crazy time in the RE market, but I believe that there still are good deals to be had if you perform the due diligence.
That’s great to hear! I really appreciate that - definitely wanted our content to be “real” and not a lot of hyped up, flashy videos. Glad you’re getting interested in commercial real estate, it’s a really fun industry and I love being a part of it
Bro you drop gems every time thanks so much
Hell yeah 😁 glad you like them, Brooke
I can’t wait to get through all these videos! The story is dope! We have these opportunities up north! Our Airbnb is bringing $6k/month and we are looking to expand. I would love to get coffee with you very soon
Haha might take a while to get through all of the videos but definitely worth it!
All around amazing video, keep up the videos I love them!
Thank you, Emerson! I appreciate that
Nice
Thanks, Caleb 🤙🏼
How do you find investor groups? I have a boutique hotel in Florida, but I need funding.
It's a new build and my team has over 10 years of experience
Sounds like a good opportunity! You’ll find investors through networking at other real estate investment events or through working your network
How do you find these lending partners?
We made about 150 calls to lending partners. Best to find them online or through referrals
