Today I wanted to take our time, have some fun and run some experiments. We paired 7 different Candies with 7 different HyperShift pearls. The mixing and blending shots we got today were just insane! Love doing projects like this, and i hope you enjoy it as well!

I think there was a typo, ZTK/Organic Green should be ZTL/Organic Green.
Zbr/ voodoo violet is my pick.
It would be cool if the speedshapes where half white/black, to see on which base the color popped the most 😉
This is a great idea. I've always thought 'how different would it look with the opposite base'?

I was just thinking the same thing sorta... Instead of just a black base... Do a comparison on 3 base tones... Black... Grey... White... The 3 different base tones will definitely change the locks of all those colors but the one that I think that would really explode all out is the tangerine on either a gray or even better on a white base

I would absolutely love to see you do splits (Black/White or Grey) on the speed shapes when you do these tests. Truly give how these results could vary with different base coats!

IIRC he did test pearls on black and white base coated hoods. Turns out only white based pearls work with a white base.

If love to see that too. I'm planning on a custom mix for a bike. I plan on using gold and silver base colors. I'm thinking that black candy looks sexy as hell, but maybe with a different hyper shift.
I feel we see plenty of greens, purples, and blues full scale.
I only remember seeing ONE full scale orange color where you used Safety Orange and a White hyper shift. It would be nice to see this Sunburst Orange full scale!
I kinda want to see ZBR with the tangerine candy. ZBR is the black to red. It's my all time favorite. Although, it might just turn it to black to orange and I think they already have a black to orange hypershift. 🤷♀️ I'm on board with your idea, though.

Same here, but I think the color would pop more on a lighter basecoat.
That red at the beginning of the mixes is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 it screams mazda red

That new Mazda Red is so sexy looking! I want to buy a Mazda just for that color. Lol. Ford's is probably the 2nd best red. But the candy red reminds me of the Mazda Red too. Which is why I voted for the Tangerine, for something different.
Definitely ZGF Tangerine for full scale. I’d love to see how these look over a silver or grey base!
The next time you do one of these...can you do the base on the speed shapes half in black and half in white? oh and the ZGF/Tangerine over white for full scale

Those colors are beeping amazing. I have been customizing and painting cars, trucks and bikes most of my 62 years and thoroughly enjoy your videos. I like to cut back on candy toners by at least half, which gives a fair bit more depth and not so dark for finished multi layer paints. Just my 2 cents. Totally amazing colors and excellent videos.
The Green /ZTK and the Tangerine/ZGF are both mind blowing, but I’d love to see you spray out the Tangerine on a car….it’s been awhile since you did an orange video.
Just watching the mixing is a great video to me. I just love the completely mixed look of the colors. Watching them slowly mix together in the clear jar, great all by itself . I am mesmorized ☺️😎🤩
It was really a tough choice, but I think I want to see either the purple or the tangerine color in full scale. I bet that tangerine would be amazing!!

I was thinking the opposite, I thought the black diluted the white pearl out, just make it look really smoky with the end result

I’d like to see you do this to a car making each panel a different mix, and and use the overspray as a blending to the next panel.
By far my favorite swirl videos! Watching the hyper shift incorporate into the base was something else. That blue is out of this world though. I think I found what color I’m painting my truck
I am in total agreement with you on this, I want to paint my suburban, with the cobalt blue and have the hyper shift in it, and the bottom half is blurple......

I"d Love to see you mix ZTA and Tangerine, a Color Shift that is not complementary by an opposite on the color wheel.
I commented ZTA and Red but for exactly this reason. I think it would probably go well with Tangerine too!
ZTU/Oriental Blue is pretty much exactly what I've been envisioning for what I wanted. A deep blue with a sparkly galaxy effect that's a bit understated.
yes, that was really cool, and most of the colours are awsome... What I would love to see on a car is the lighter green on the front and the darker green on the rear, with a fading effect over the middle of the car... We know you can do it!

They are all epic, be happy with any of them, the tangerine just takes it.
Honestly…it is SOOOO satisfying watching the slo mo of the one color powder turning into another color entirely. I’ll rewind certain colors if I’m completely fooled and want to see it again and again.
I have an idea, take the 7 hypershifts put a poll up the top one gets mixed with top one of the 7 kandy concentrates that you put up on another poll. Whichever is the top vote getter for each poll gets mixed up an done full-scale. It would be interesting to see what crazy combo gets picked lol. It may work out, it may not. But one thing it'll be fun to see.
By the title, I thought you meant you were mixing 7 of each mixed together 😂

Each one is unique, on the rotating I loved the tangerine the most with the zga black candy a close second. On the still shots the oriental blue takes it.
That black kandy is so sick. Please do more like this with all black kandy and different pearls. 1st black candy, 2nd tangerine, 3rd kobalt. they're all nice!
The ZGF/Tangerine over a pearl white base would be PHENOMENAL. I feel like the black base kinda robbed the clorshifts of some of their magic. Love love LOVE your videos!!

Every one of those colors are dope. I noticed that the final finish on the speed shapes was super smooth, was that an optional illusion or or what? Way glossier than any dip I’ve seen.

Wow!! There is so much vibrancy and sparkle in these colour combinations! Love them all, especially the blues, and the violet one that turned out like Black Cherry. Simply stunning!!
PLEASE please consider making a metallic copper-maroon colour, similar to Chevrolet Aztec Bronze. Would LOVE to see it on the SPLBRG S4 or another Audi as a pearls/candy experiment!

I think the ZTL and Organic Green was the best. Had the most shift, and popped the most. All were great and would look fantastic, but I feel the green was slightly better.
I agree, I thought the Organic Green and the Tangerine had the best color shift. I am wondering if the other colors had a higher percentage of Candy coloring added which overpowered the color shift characteristics.

Zga/black candy has my vote. Something mysterious that I'd love to see on a full car. Tough choice though.

That has to do with the pearl load in the final coats. If you really load it up (50g per gallon or more) it'll lose some gloss. If you keep it low (like he did here, because hypershifts), then it'll have more of a gloss. That is of course you're using glossy top coat - unless I'm crazy there is also a Matte top coat that won't gloss at all, regardless of pearl load.

I am a sucker for those vivid blue colors so the cobalt blue/zta is my favorite, however all the reds blues greens can get played out way too easily, that tangerine is gorgeous!

The Tangerine...interesting... common to see a variant of it on Corvettes and those bold enough to embrace it on a vehicle! Even an 18 wheeler!

I choose the ZTK/Organic Green, it seemed to me to be the largest particulate reflections and the widest color range of flash as the shape rotated ... but they're all stunning!

those two blues... are beautiful! The cobalt/ZTA I think is my fave of those two. The Candy Red is really good for red spectrum.
