Did I hear 300kph? I need this setup in my life... So you added a 100mm instead of the recommended 120mm and a lighter battery setup . I LOVE IT

Great to see another video, excellent camera work as usual.
Will the Jetfan’s sound as good as WemoTec 100!
Would be Interesting to see the internal layout and 3D printed intakes for the Jetfan’s etc.
Already waiting for your next video 👍🏻

Hi Wojtek, very impressive flight, still in 8S but even better setup with this new motor and 3 packs than the last config.
BTW you made a mistake in the description, it's 8S 12000mAh instead of 8S 8000mAh

I just found your channel and I love your content. I have been flying a foam avanti from freewing and would love to get into a jet this size. Do you have any build videos? I want to make the jump but I really don’t know where to start when It comes to what equipment to buy.

That sure sounds like a gas turbine until landing.

Hallo Wojtek. Again a nice setup. But I wonder how you balance your EDF-systems. I buy combo's of EDF and engine that come balanced from the factory. But you make your own combo's by putting a stronger engine in a seperate ducted fan. That is super. I want to do the same, but I don't know how to balance it. Maybe you can give some advice?
    Thanks!

What are the voltage values used for the 40T cells, final charge voltage, storage and low voltage cutoff? I'm love these videos and they have spurred my interest in trying an EDF jet myself.

Google for the full data sheet, but it's fairly standard LiIon. Final charge is 4,2V, LVC 2,5V and 3,6-3,7V for storage.
Although personally with LiIon I don't think storage voltage is that necessary.

As a Gas Turbine guy I hate it when people say that an electric jet sounds like a turbine..lol.. Not even close. But YOUR jets DO sound like a Gas Turbine. You put so much effort into your videos and we all appreciate it.

Most lower-end EDFs have an out-of-balance noise, but when you start getting EDF systems whose costs approach those of a gas turbine (like those used here), the quality gets so much better that things like out-of-balance blade units disappear.
The gas turbines seem to always have that terrible ear-piercing high-pitch whine noise though, which the lower-RPM EDFs thankfully do not seem to replicate. I actually love it at an event when someone with a turbo prop (or the ultra-rare high-bypass ducted fan turbine) flies, because the noise is closer to EDF and far more palatable to those of us under 50 with our hearing still intact.
