I used to own a Nord Stage 3. Sold it, got some cash out of it and replaced it with a Nord Electro 6D. Why? Because the Stage was overkill for my little band setup. The 6D on the other hand is perfect: I can put it in its bag and easily take it to the band room or to gigs. I still get access to the glorious Nord sound, which at least to my ears is one of the best on the market.
The Keybed is perfectly playable, splendid for organ and even allows for some expressiveness while playing the pianos. Of course it can't match my Kawai CA-78's action, but that would be asking for too much anyway. I have tried many synth actions and for an all-rounder I prefer this waterfall keybed to any generic old synth action. On top of that nothing beats having real drawbars, so there aren't many alternatives on the market. Maybe the Numa organ, but that one doesn't feature the piano or synth sounds which I like and need.
If you just want an organ I recommend looking at the Yamaha Reface YC. Splendid price-performance ratio and a good sound. And best of all: real drawbars! The mini keys are excellent, but I wish it had more octaves.
Back to the Electro 6D: The only thing I sometimes really miss is the A1's synthesizer engine which had been built into the Stage 3 and the pitch- and mod-wheel. But alas, you can't have everything, especially not for the splendid price the 6D is selling at. Eventually I gave in and got myself a Nord Wave 2. Splendid instrument, though not perfect, but great nonetheless and covers almost all my synth needs and wants. The thing is: it was a deliberate choice of Nord to leave out the pitch- and mod-wheel since the 6D actually responds to to an exteral pitch-wheel. I do understand that they can't make the 6D too powerful in order be able to still sell their other products and in all honesty just like Jota said, you learn to live without it. If you look at it as a fantastic sounding piano and organ you don't need a pitch-bend anyway. The wheels would have been lovely to control the sample synth section, but that would require it to be a fully featured synth to really make sense I guess, so while I don't like not having the wheels, I believe I understand the reasoning behind it. And it is fine as it is. Let's see what the future brings!
As for the mentioned "filter that doesn't make any sense" in the sample synth section on the Nord 6D: it's a velocity sensitive low-pass filter. The softer you play, the more it closes. No resonance, no control, no filter types. But it's a fully working filter nonetheless and it does the job for aggressive sounding samples. I tend to look at it more as a bonus rather than a feature.
All in all the Nord Electro 6D is one of my most priced possessions. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys playing the keys.

You can pitch bend by adding a midi controller and apply that just to the synth part. Handy for a simple gig setup.

Yo, with the reggae rhythm u have in your right hand, is it possible to have an arpeggiator do that rhythm ? Sometime it’s difficult playing other changes with your other hand if you’re playing the reggae vamps
