Wow❣️ It’s such a beautiful combination in the window boxes. The green color of the boxes is perfect with the Lemon Cypress, Creeping Jenny, and pops of color with the Cyclamen.

The sage window boxes turned out gorgeous!!! The different textures of the plants and the variegated cycleman foliage really pop. Great use of red, green, blue and yellow colors.

If I waited later in the season to start Christmas ,I'd end up with a tree and the lights on the tree, that's it, so I've already started transitioning to Christmas , yes it's early but my family deserve more than a tree with lights again this year!! I think they worry that it may end up with one of those pine scented car trees...and well I just can't do that to them!!😅😂

The window boxes are looking so beautiful!!!! Great combo for Christmas. Wish lemon cypress was perennial in my zone, 6b. Watching reminded me I had not watered my mums LOL, one was going downhill. Eeeeeekkkk, so many ants!!!! I had ants in my dahlia container and I dusted with DE but the ants didn't seem phased by it. I ended up creating some ant traps with borax and sugar.

For future projects you can go to the dollar store and buy cinnamon cheap, sprinkle it in with your soil in containers or on the ground plants, it messes with the sensory trails that ants use to follow. I don't believe it kills them, but they move on someplace else usually within a day or two. I have also used cayenne pepper.

The window boxes look great, love the combo!! I bought 5 lemon cypress in 2022 at Home Depotś after xmas clearance sale. They´ve done well over the past yr. and filled out quite a bit. Coincidently, I bought 2 of the larger version of your black pots on clearance at HD last week with the plan of painting them a lighter color so the soil and roots dont get too hot in my zone 9b. That green shade of paint in the backyard boxes would look fabulous on your front door!!

Your shed is looking absolutely spectacular! I feel your vision with the wreaths on the door. Thank you for covering the specs on the Lemon Cypress; I’ve been looking at them but have never seen anyone cover how they grow. I’m in zone 8b, Foley, AL; I wasn’t sure if it got too warm for the Lemon Cypress.
I had them at about 4 ft tall this summer, but they do not like our high heat and humidity so they burned and I had to pitch them. I had them for 3 years. The one Robbie has in the ground looks amazing! I want to do red and white cyclamen around my giant green nutcracker in a pot, but I would have to protect for sure. 7B MS. Love those window boxes, did you make them Robbie?

Robbie you are so inspirational. The window box is gorgeous. Love the candy cane colors . I might copy your selection. As the saying goes “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery “ . I always check out Home Depot garden center since it’s so close to my home . I’ve found great prices there on plants . I like my Home Depot garden center especially during holidays and spring season. That’s not to say I don’t love the independent garden center where I also shop . I shop several different grocery stores too each for different needs. No limitations for shopping and finding the best products. Thanks for showing us that beautiful yellow rose at the garden center. Very pretty! I have a potted arrangement with fountain grass, orange mum & red mums . The mums are in a middle stage not as vibrant but still looking ok . I’m also going to take the Mums out soon and add Christmas colors. Your creativity is amazing.

The window boxes are really lovely with the lemon cypress and cyclamen...so fresh! After Thanksgiving, why not add more greenery to your urns on the front steps, relocate the grasses and leave just the white pumpkins near them
Agree, I think red and orange together clash and compete. I choose one or the other. The white and/or green pumpkins would look great with the red.

Going to HD tomorrow on the way home from work Robbie. Thanks another great video love it. The lemon cypress has similar shape of juniper small bush I have two in backyard rose garden & two in front yard beds as anchor plants framing the end of the house. Walmart here in zone 9a Florida has the lemon cypress crazy for $24.95😢. That green color on window boxes is just magical in that space now i want window boxes to put on our brick house. Wish you lived near me I'll love to have several can't wait for your video of adding these to the front. Watch how your neighbors will ask for these as well 😂. Thanks for posting.

I have 3 climbing roses, and it seems I have Leaf Cutter Bees here......how would you deal with those, or would you just let them cut circles into your rose leaves??? The lemon cypress looks great in the window boxes, along with the creeping jenny and cyclamen. I'm going to try the lemon cypress in an urn on our porch. Keeping my. fingers crossed that it will be as pretty as yours.
The boxes look wonderful! The girls must have been hiding, at the Rock Garden LOL. If you like yellow roses, I would totally recommend the Doris Day you looked at. She is a very prolific bloomer, all summer long. It's one of my favorite:)

I get such a kick out of how excited you guys got over maple trees. I am in the Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania and maples are everywhere. I guess I take them for granted until fall hits and they are so spectacular. We are surrounded by them everywhere. Nice to take a Sunday afternoon ride to look at the trees in all there splendor before the leaves fall and dreary winter begins. Enjoy them in California when you can , they are pretty.
