Metric system is great for some things but English is handier for everyday common measurements which is why Americans still use it for that. We also use metric depending on the application. Best of both worlds.
All Americans use some metric. 2 liter is common here.

@@eazyeduardo3731 I guess you could aproximately estimate the length of your foot when using feet instead of meters for which we have no physical guide for how long it is. Y you wanted to aproximate like 3 feet you just take 3 steps and you got your measurement. But metric is 100x better for exact calculations

To be fair all soda is measured by Liter in America
@@FlexYourFreedoms The 1, 2, 3 liter soda bottles are. But soda cans are measured in fluid ounces (which is not metric.) Smaller soda bottles are also in fluid ounces as well (usually 16.9 fluid ounces.) So it just depends on which product, lol. We have all sorts of standards mixed together over here.
A lot of them though, to be fair, have both fluid ounces and liter measurements listed somewhere on it if you look closely. But with cans and smaller bottles -- we usually refer to the fluid ounces (12 or 16.9) -- and with the bigger soda bottles, we usually refer to the liter measurement instead of the fluid ounces. It's interesting, lol.
