imagine a 2 hour game mode like battle royal but like these 1 hour with the zones then they close then as the game continues the zones get smaller and smaller kinda like ark survivial of the fittest but more people based
Dude someone needs to make a server where there’s like 4 massive tribes and on weekends there are wars or something. I feel like this is how ark pvp was meant to be.
There's a Spanish CZcamsr that does servers like this, Nexxuz, the servers have their own economy and theme, the "Reinos Enfrentados" series are a good example for this idea where two tribes originally (as time passes more tribes are created) exist in conflict with each other, with their own land and property, and go to war every once in a while. They are some of the best servers I've ever played in and have been going since forever ago. They are in Spanish tho so someone should really bring that style to English servers.
All the tames are purposely set up as don't want people going and spending hours to work towards a giga. But yes in the future definitely plan to have more higher tier creatures

Tbh the plains should have made all of their tribe members have deinonychus at max imprint and good melee because then sheesh the other tribes would be lone as gone

I think it would be more balanced to add another tribe to the roster so we have in total 4 tribes…this would also make it more interesting because there are more interactions with the fourth tribe

The closest I've ever seen to this kind of gameplay is the roleplay servers that I play on. Kingdoms, set tames, characters with all different personalities. It's how I image ARK should be played!

Would be a helpful thing for viewer experience to give all the tribes dyes to colour their dinos the colour of their tribe, e.g. yellow for beach, green for pains and red for redwood. That way when we know who's fighting who from birds eye view.
Yip, I had the same thought when watching back my footage. For the next one I have set it up so that all creatures in each biome spawn a specific colour
I love this sort of game play on ark! groups of good people teaming up to have fun. I am making my own ark server and i hope to do the same thing with rewards for the winnners.

Beach had a huge advantage since the start, the beach is rhe safest place and the andrewsarchus are broken and easy to tame
They were massively behind around half way in! But they played in smart
Those of us that stayed up top were at a disadvantage because we were struggling with hide until we went down, and even then we were wayyyy behind

Theres been a server called server wars 100 members each it was fun but it died there was 6 tribes they had different maps good times

I definitely think plains could've won if they reinforced the castle by putting gates at the checkpoints
