Outline:
The events of Relink take place in Zegagrande Skydom. In this corner of the world, islands are guarded by powerful creatures known as primal beasts and winds carry tales of a secretive organization known as the Church of Avia. Through their adventures, the protagonists unveil a web of intrigue reaching far beyond the borders of Zegagrande and engage in a battle for the fate of the Sky Realm itself.

GBF : full auto mode is the end game. if you can full auto a raid, it means your grid and party has synergized so well that you don't need to manually press any skills
GBRelink : can only use full auto at the beginning of the game for new players to learn the rope
Pretty sure I said this at some point in the recent years, but I'm so glad it's you who's keeping track of this game to this extend.
Subscribed some time ago, during the Fatal Bullet release, and been a fan ever since.
The fact that my favourite IP ever is being explored by one of my favourite CZcamsrs is awesome and I'm too excited to wait. February can't come any faster.

LOL, I also foundd this channel thru Fatal Bullet. Like I'm not all into SAO universe but this channel got me into that one. I even POed that game.
If you're wondering how Granblue Fantasy Relink got the idea of this game, most of it comes from Phantasy Star Universe from the PS2. Back in 2017, the original version had a minimap on the top-right, which Phantasy Star Universe also had its mini-map on the top-right. Both were action JRPGs where you could have up to four party members in battle. Phantasy Star Universe also had a linear stage selection system as it was multiplayer-focused as well.
Oh yes, I remember that game it was exactly structured like that, I agree if not it took from its predecessor PSO too also

I've never played anything from the franchise and I have not been this excited for a game before. This game looks awesome
There is a really good fighting game out there created by the same developers who did Guilty Gear and Dragon ball Fighterz. It is on sale alot of times. The sequel of the game is coming out later this year in late November. The game is called Granblue Fantasy Versus.

I'm liking their own interpretations of the OG GBF raid mechanisms and I'm curious if they'll implement the boyband trio and Bahamut's end-game raid as a DLC cuz they're definitely one of the best for high-leve raids

I really hope they they didn't skimp out on exploration. I hope each of the "stages" are more like zones in xenoblade with tons of optional mobs and treasures and not like FF16 where there is virtually no reason to explore or kill non boss enemies. Also very interested in character progression and customization options. Thanks for your coverage!

@jamierawr88 The Multiplayer is very monster hunter, but the story looks very ff16 with beast vs beast battles! I even saw an article today that said u can play as bahamut at certain points!! Totally ff16!!
@@GT--- well, the blue girl can't fight in GranBlue Fantasy. but, she's needed if you wanna use a summon. maybe that's how you can fight as Primal Beast in this game

Your voice sounds perfect for a lot of narration/voice over work. Like if i'm listening to your videos and not watching, I can easily picture about 30 different characters where your voice would be fitting/convincing.

It has been so long since i get so excited for a game and with the confirmation than everything in the game can be done fully solo and offline they just got my money day one.
Got a little concerned that the main story played out over 100 quests with time limits. I was hard out until I watched this video. Thanks.
What i like a lot about the boss footage is the bosses are very active. The bosses have tons of danger zones, aoes, and marked spots so you are not falling asleep hitting a sponge who's gimmick is just that they are big and strong this game will be very fun.
I was really looking forward to playing this during the holidays. Sad that it got pushed to February 2024.
It wasn't delayed (yet again) though, they'd said "Winter 2024".

On the one hand I am pretty sad because my friend said that we're not getting the game near the end of this year but we're supposed to be getting it in February 1st of next year which means the game got delayed again. But on the other hand they are more consistent with at least giving us a lot more information on how the game is going with each update and it sounds like they have a good idea on how to do the end game content. Plus we are getting Star ocean 2 R within this year so it's not like we're gonna be starving for action RPG's. Overall, a nice look into what they have planned and great video!
The game was not technically delayed. They said the winter of 2023 which by quarterly financial standards includes up to March of 2024.
They seems to add more stuff into the game as it get deylad which is fine by me

The Quest Mode really reminds me of the Dimensional Dungeon mode from Dragon Quest Heroes 2 where you can solo or Co-op with a party of 4 characters, where areas the structure for a hub town reminds me classic PSO and MH, but overall thank you for sharing this info, it’s very insightful to show us what the game has in store
I'm looking forward to putting 300 plus hours in to this game. I'm tired of being done with games in 30 hours.

It is a magic and fast version of Monster Hunter game.
Let me tell you that I really like it😍😍....
It's good that I didn't open the map by myself..come like a monster hunter and then walk to find monsters. Plus, look at the combat system...we fight randomly and die a lot, haha.
It's worth the game that I've actually been waiting for....even if I come next year as usual in February.
But be patient a little more and you will be able to play... wait in steam. There is only a press to order because it has been shown for a little bit 1 hour ago.

There are so many good games coming out in the nearest future it's impossible to catch up with everything. Paradox of choice I guess. I wouldn't be able to play through most of this stuff even if I were unemployed with no life what so ever.
Man it's been 3 years or more since i first heard this game, can't believe its finally reaching us, im new to grandblue but holy this game becomes even more beautiful the more they leak and demonstrate. I fucking love dragons and gigantic bosses so i fell in love years ago seeing those bossfights, and the gameplay seems to be even better than what i thought, the graphic too is awesome for an anime game, this will be perfection and im not a day one player, heck i even get games when they are on huge sales rather than full price or even half, but this.... it's a day 1 game, there's no other way its too good, can't wait anymore after all those videos and after all those years. Just hope that the optimization and the requirements will be on point for pc

Great info! This video actually really helped clear up a lot of the questions I had. Now the big thing I am still curious about is how many playable characters are there in the game and in what ways can we actually upgrade and customize them? Also curious about monetization.
We don't know about monetization but you should be able to recruit all playable characters by just playing the game.
For upgrading there is mention of weapon crafting (and lv uncap) via material, and skill/growth three where you can unlock additional stats and skills (it was shown briefly in gameplay page of relink website) .
Tbh I can see them use dlc as monetization because they mention there is no live event or battle pass in some Interview.

Hello Havian, I understood that there were two modes, story mode and quest mode, but the quest mode rewards imagine that we receive a weapon, can we use it in story mode? Otherwise thank you for the video it is still much clearer than before having seen it

Will there be crossplay between PS and PC?
So can you disable the assist modes? Or is assist the default? Also is the coop always 4 players or is it possible to do 2 player or 3 player only?
Im pretty sure you'll be given the option at the start of the game which mode to play and be able to change it via settings any time throughout the game
That's an option if you wanna switch it on or off like in og game.
This game is PERFECT. Definitely seems like a Jrpg from a new age
having trouble finding where I read it last; but has anyone confirmed the class system for Gran/Djeeta is still cut?
Swear I read it somewhere, but it's been a while lol
they never show us that but looks like gran/djeeta will be jack of all trade, from the short video where they show character growth tree and skill menu, gran/djeeta have Buff (rage), Debuff (armor break), Heal (panacea) and Damaging skill (reginleiv).
In that video it shows us that character will have more than 4 abilities and some are unlockable (decimate and arrow rain are unlockable this way)
there are offensive and defensive growth tree for gran/djeeta soo who knows if gran/djeeta growth tree will be bigger than other characters and they do 'class system' for MC this way.
I see Gran can unlock Decimate skill in the showcase clip on official website, so my guess is that Gran/Djeeta can unlock all the general damaging, buffing, debuffing, healing skills in the original game. Not sure about extended mastery skills that can be equipped by specific classes though.

since its not open world, can you come back to previous stages, in case you missed some side quests? and does your level, exp or progression from multiplayer quests carry over to the single player section?
I assume you'll be able to revisit / replay story stages, and all of your progress is shared between modes.
As a story lover i just learned of this game and the hype was UNREAL.
Now that i learned that i once again can play the story only in Singleplayer and i pretty much have to beat the story to get the full extend of Coop is just such a Game killer.
This looks great but i dont know...Steam promised me a Coop Story Game and thats just not it.

Yes, indeed, it looks like a Monster Hunter Style type of game mechanics for Co-op where you can grind Monsters for armor and weapon upgrades... this interests me a lot....

It's likely cross between PS4 and PS5 seeing as these are the only formats they are releasing on.

I see people comenting this is like Monster Hunter, which I never played. But I played God Eater, and it seems like it will be like that. A hub in which you choose your map, finish it, and go back to the hub. Am I wrong?
Yeah they are basically the same. God Eater id structured very similarly to Monster Hunter when it came to quests. God Eater took alot of their inspiration from Monster Hunter so it will feel very familiar to you.

Thanks for the coverage but I cannot find a straight answer for this question. HOW DO WE GET CHARACTERS????? With this coming from a mobile game studio I can only assume that this is a gatcha and I simply won't bother with this game if that's the case. So is it a gatcha or do we unlock characters through story progression????
In another interview it is confirmed that only the main cast will be available to play at first, but while missions are completed they will give us objects to unlock the other characters in the order we want
No gacha, based on RPGsite interview, by progressing the story you’ll receive an item and then you use the item that will allow you to unlock a character from a facility in the base area. You’ll just get items - that same item - to do that multiple times throughout the story.that will allow you to unlock a character from a facility in the base area.
Curious on how much of this follows the anime.
The anime is based on the first few chapters of the original story (roughly chapters 1-30ish). Relink takes place further ahead in the timeline (most likely chapter 170+), but if you've already seen the Anime you'll know who the core characters are. You don't need to know the previous story before playing Relink.

I must have missed it, but....
which modes WON'T support multiplayer? Seems there are several different modes for us to play, and since the game will involve some grind there's not a much better way to do so than to join others while still getting rewarded.

Why did you never Review Final Fantasy XVI?
The review code was sent too close to the release date. So I had less than a week to complete the game, write the script, and then edit the review before the embargo lifted. I could have reviewed based on the earlier portion of the game, but decided not to since it would have missed a lot of details. So I made a short form video instead, and then started preparing for the next video project.

Wait the story mode is -only- single player and multi is -only- the side quests? that's a super mega bummer, was going to do the story with two friends. Also I hope there's an ability to disable the auto-fill of missing members and just have a team of 2 or 3 or an AI controlling whoever is left.
Kinda incorrect. Theres 4 seperate content. Story mode-singleplayer, Quest mode(100 of them)-singleplayer or multi, Sidequests-singleplayer, & Fate episodes-singleplayer.
