Hey man, i watched some video's of your channel they are pretty dope! I alsook watched the video you show your forester build. I bought an Impreza 1,6 station from 99. Already did some pretty cool offroading with IT! Only i get stuck pretty fast because off the ride heigt. Do you maybe know a fast cheap way to lift my Impreza?
@@thijsbakker9170 Strut spacers are the cheapest single thing you could do, although they'll only raise is a little without other supportive mods. Check out the long travel and mod walk-around videos it you haven't already. Those might help you figure out the direction you want to go.
@@powerofyourbrains thanks man, i Will watch the video's. I am going too Norway thuis summer dont want to spend to much money. So maybe after Norway

Need your Decal..love this stuff.
Awesome, we're gonna get some prints soon. We'll post when they're available on our Instagram and Facebook. We'll make a post on YT as well, but there's no telling if you'll ever see it
We got a Redbubble now!
Epic, I'm gonna make the drive from NY to WV so I can mud with you boys in my outback
Sweet man, what kinda OB are you wheeling?
@@powerofyourbrains 03 5 speed with lsd center and rear (winter package) . ACT clutch kit, method 502s Geo 015 and a 1 inch lift. Saving for more clearance and a dual range from Australia... But still having a blast ...bought the car in California, for an 03 it's perfect.
@@1483Frenchman well it's time to put some dents in those fenders! Just playing...kinda. Follow our FB page, it's where we'll be posting trip announcements and that sorta stuff. You willing to swap diffs for an open rear to accommodate a locker? That along with dual range would be a totally killer setup.
Definitely willing! A locker would be a very welcome addition to the OB. I'm not on Facebook but I'll have the wife join and give me a heads up. I would definitely love to play in the mud
@@1483Frenchman sounds awesome! We're on IG too, and we usually post to both
Oh man! Looks like if someone is training for running of the bulls in San Fermin, bull leaper style (recortadores) 7:15
Have you deflated tyres to climb that crazy-steep hill? According to that kind of surface, try to deflate tyres a bit; grip changes a lot. It's not always a good idea.
You're awesome pushing forward.
No, actually. We did not this time. Out of sheer laziness I guess, because we did think about it. And yeah, it turned out to be more of an ATV trail.
@@powerofyourbrains The only one that didn't deflate is the only one that tried that hill climb. lol
I do it as more of a comfort thing. It's more noticeable on rocky instead of muddy trails though.
@@bruceyyyyy I remember now. I guess the thought was that we would be going everywhere together, and that granny was the only vehicle with mud terrains.
Anything necessitating deflation would be equivocal to driving out into another muddy lake bed again, eating up a lot of time. Yes, we were trying to avoid that believe it or not.
Hey can ascending on the too stip hill damage your trans? I just want know
Any climb like that will put stress on those sort of components. In our experience the 4eat's hold up pretty well though, and its hard to say what (if any) mechanical damage would occur. In autos, the torque converter stall helps protect the gears. In manuals, the clutch. This sort of foolery is hard on any car. Can't see a reason to worry about the trans in particular.
@@powerofyourbrains thanks for the info and for the reply
Stopping just over the crest of the hill isn't a real good idea.
Welcome, you must be new here. We seem to be fond of not-so-great ideas.
brains nah I've been watching for a while. I beat my fozzy in Colorado so if you ever happen to be in the Denver area drop a message to me or shoot a request to O.S.CO. . I'm sure you would enjoy an outing with the group.
Nah, probably not.
