'Growing and harvesting vegetables' started out of my curiosity,
but it became the greatest joy in my daily life.
I used empty bottles
to make 'self-watering system vases', and with ease,
the plants grow so well.

For the comments about relationships below, I watched a movie once where people at a alcoholics anonymous meeting were told not to think of starting a relationship until you have bought a plant and looked after it for one year. If it is still alive after one year, you can then get a pet animal and look after it for one year and if the plant and the pet are still alive after the second year, only then can you think of starting a relationship with another human being. Food for thought. This video is such an inspiration. Thank you so much.

Feels like a burden to me. Been 1 year since I've got a dog. Always felt like a tedious routine to take it out for walks twice a day. Sigh.
@@2MinTz2 Joy comes to people in different ways. For some it comes through looking after others, animals and plants. What can you remember doing anywhere in your life that brought you joy? It is amazing how many people forget.

i thought of that a long time ago but now that I am older I entirely disagree with that thinking. Maybe it should be taught to children to teach abstinence until marriage in school but just to have friends it seems excessive. Human relationships arent really that comparable to one dimension responsibilities.

I got addicted to gardening too. I also did the same style of planting as the video above, but planted fast growing plants that grows beans. I am poor, only able to eat once a day, so I practice fasting and yoga and meditation. I planted a lot of mung beans, soy beans, flat beans, purple beans and corn. After a few months I am so happy they give lots of beans, I was able to make like 6 sacks of them and sold them to market. I planted more beans and keep selling, then I buy chickens and feed chickens with ground beans and corn. Then I sell chicken eggs. After 2 years I am self sufficient, I no longer worry about food and I am able to buy solar panel and battery for electricity for my laptop. Next I will buy a water tank so I don't have to pay for water anymore. It's amazing how a simple hobby can change your life.
I made everything step by step and now i have a whole vegetable garden and i don’t need to worry about watering through out the day, tank u so much korean garden mom/dad❤️

Lots of foods grow in just water... Jar of water with stump of lettuce on top will grow a new lettuce. It's the same with cabbage, spring onions, leeks. CZcams videos show you... Also sprout dried beans, ready to eat in 5 days.😷😉🍅🍓

I would recommend only having the lights on during the day time for around 6 hours just to supplement the daylight, as most plants arent used to having 24/7 daylight and it can harm them to have too much light
I used the lights only when the weather was cloudy in winter and early spring, and now I am not using it.🌞 Thank you for your advice.🌱

@Windows 10 I have my lights on 12on and 12 off. Yes, some plants are photo sensitive but 4-6 hours of darkness suffices. Plants such as peppers are not photo sensitive.

I just started growing some violets, rosemary and basil and I'm really growing fond of them, feel kind of sad cutting some leaves to make some aromatic olive oil but it made me proud too. Try talking or singing to them it's so relaxing and there are studies showing they appreciate it and grow better, faster and stronger😀
My mother also used to tell me since I was little that talking to plants help them grow.🌿😮 Great to find there are studies showing this is true.🙂 Maybe I should try talking to them more.💕

It's funny because I've read that talking to them doesn't make them grow but certain waves do help them. I'll keep talking to them though😌😊

Hace aproximadamente un año que empecé con un mini huerto en mi ventana y la verdad me ha llenado de felicidad, habían días grises en los cuales me ocupaba de mis plantitas, las regaba, las arreglaba y eso y sentía una paz como ninguna, hoy en día aún tengo mis plantitas y creo que nunca en la vida dejare de hacerlo

토마토는 먹어 보고 맛있는 것에서 씨앗 있는 부분을 꺼내서 물을 조금 붓고 하루 정도 두면 발효가 되면.물 더 붙고 흔들면 올쳉이 같은 겉 껍질이 잘벗겨짐. 그 씨앗을
심이면 됨

Muy hermoso y nutritivo tú proyecto. Es curioso a mi me pasa igual cuando tengo que cortar mis cebollitas me da pena pero con mucho amor les habló y luego las cortó me encanta la siembra y todo tipo de proyecto relacionado con la madre naturaleza. Un fuerte abrazo y desde aqui en República Dominicana estaré esperando que puedas seguir disfrutando de tan lindo proyectó........
Saludos, también soy dominicano, a mi me encanta esos experimentos, incluso tengo mi patio con algunos recipientes de compota para niño con algunas verduras para ver si crecen y poder utilizarlas para la cocina. Es muy divertido y siempre se me despierta la curiosidad de saber si todos los vegetales que se compra en el supermercado o colmado se pueden utilizar para hacer un pequeño jardín.

Thank you for giving me an idea about cherry tomatoes!!! Currently, I am growing onions and bokchoy in a recycled plastic bottle indoor...they really are a joy when the leaves start to sprout.

te entiendo a mi me costo cosechar el zapallo anco luego tarde una semana en cortarlo y la lechuga solo pude cortar 3 hojas después de 2 semanas de ir a la huerta para cosechar y volver porque me sentía que era como cortar a mi bb ... increíble la sensaciones que despierta cuidar un huerto .... 🌷🌷😘
A mi me preocuparía que se seque la planta o se muera, entiendo ese sentimiento de no querer dañar algo que con tanto amor trataste.
화분에 직접 식물을 키워서 먹기 여간 까다로운게 아닐텐데 자동급수화분.. 그런 생각을 못했네요. 계란말이까지 정말 맛나보여요 ㅎㅎ
