I mean since time moves different he was definitely there for awhile so technically he did still age just not as fast as the aliens. He can’t just grow a beard without time passing so he would’ve had to age

Yeah, everyone says he aged a lot. He did spend months in there but he didn't age faster. That kind of beard only takes a few months.
