Fun fact it’s rumored that the bum bum is suppose to be a heartbeat and that the cutting her beautiful blue hair off is suppose to mean she’s cutting her wrist, and the bum bum pauses for a second because when the body is in shock the heart skips a beat. And since it was such a random pain it caused the body to go into shock 👍
that's only a theory. it's more likely it's to do with her cutting him out of her life and letting go of who she used to be/try to be. hence the lines 'she's getting older' and 'living with a boy who acts his age'- she's maturing. i think the description of looking like 'cotton candy' suggests youth and how quickly it fades. just my interpretation tho :)

True, i had a "friend" who used to be so sweet, kind and funny. He started s3xual!zing other people even tho he knew that they were uncomfortable with it. And then i became his "girlfriend" because he said so. And then our "relationship" was slowly making me miserable. He was with our friends and i was at home getting scolded by my parents because he kept swearing and sending terrible photos. I got in trouble for the things i didn't even do. It made me feel so bad. I felt... Horrible. I had to end our "relationship"... He almost made my family fall apart... I just had to end it. I almost lost my mom because of him. Plus, he had 2 more b!tches. I felt sad. I felt... Useless. I don't know anymore. He was making me feel terrible. I got scolded for the things i didn't even do.

I personally grew so attached to a girl that I started calling her my platonic soulmate.
We slowly drifted apart due to her dropping out of school and me being busy with studies.
During Christmas Eve I sent her a message telling her that I still loved her (platonically) and that she’ll always be my sunshine.
However she answered with a big paragraph saying we weren’t going strong anymore, that I was an amazing friend and that we weren’t really friends anymore.
This is the most heartbreaking thing that ever happened to me.

This song hits really close to home as all my life I was called the "dumb blonde" and I hated being called it so much that I ended up dying my hair multiple different colors until about a year ago when I actually had blue hair and and was seeing a online therapist that I finally feel comfortable enough to cut my hair after not for the longest time and I've been letting my nature blond grow out and I feel like I've matured a lot more from who I was a year ago and I've finally let go of my insecurities and grown up so this song just makes me happy 😊

Tbh no.. my father used to say if I get a nose job then I’d look prettier and my mom as well.. my sister used to make fun of me as well.. till I ended up doing it.. then I regret it so bad. I looked much better before and now im actually ugly. I can’t believe they made me believe I used to look ugly. Now I’ve been cutting myself and trying to end it all. I really do mourn me as a kid, that’s what this reminds me of, in my case I feel completely different than how I was before but I know I’m still the same person. Sometimes it’s shocking when I look at photos of young me and realize, hey that really is me, I was that small and happy and loved by everyone around me, young me had a huge family that lived nearby with as many cousins to play with as you can imagine. Crazy how I don’t even live in the same time zone anymore. I’m a lot less happy now, actually very unhappy, but I am working towards when I can move back to where my whole family lives.

From about 2020 - 2021 I had just gotten out of a break up and decided to act "mature" and use that time to "heal" to "change for the better", instead without realizing I became a brat, bleached my hair pink and purple which faded so I was just a blonde who thought I was being mature when I really wasn't, looking back I became harsh and not the sweet little girl I was, after covid I desperately wanted to change back from being a brat to just being me so I chopped my hair off into a pixie and dyed it back to its natural color. I know deep down that girl is never going to leave though she's always there I can't just pretend a whole year of my life just never happened, part of me will always be that dumb blonde who thought she knew best, it's been over a year sence then and I'm just barely started to confront that and recognize that I'm not her, she may still be there but I actually have changed for the better sence then it just scares me sometimes
