Plus, she released it a few days before the Orlando shooting and Christina Grimmie's death so it really helped a lot of people. And I love GFY a little bit more every time I listen to it (but I get why people don't like it, it's kinda slow). It was the opening single because Selena wanted to show that she had changed and grown up to be a beautiful woman without getting crazy (and it worked because no one's saying she's like Miley Cyrus or anything like that)
