Thanks so much for posting as Valentine's day is right around the corner. Loved your tutorial and I was able to learn some new things to do with design space!!! Your a great teacher!!
I enjoyed this a lot! Made three cards for grandkids and will watch to see what else I can do with your help! Great job explaining why and what you were doing. First project and I call it a success thanks to you!
Sarah, I made these with you, a small alteration to one of them. I love them and you made it so easy. Thanks so much for all of your help and direction.
Always a pleasure to watch and learn Thank you. Draw/write is my favorite feature of the cricut. My favorite pen is the black glitter. I love that you let some of the white show at the bottom of the second card.
i know Im randomly asking but does anybody know a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb lost the login password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me
@Canaan Maison i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
these are so cute! i cant wait to try them. Question for you Sarah, for the first card, since the drawing goes over the white square, does it end up drawing on your mat? or does it stop at the edges. i tried to slice it but it would not work.
Slice won't work on a "draw" image, so it will draw outside of the square that ends up getting cut. Make sure your cardstock covers all the space that will be drawn on so it doesn't put pen on the mat :)
This was great! You are a fantastic teacher! Quick question - do you always use cardstock or a combination of a heavy paper and cardstock? Obviously, I am a newbie! THANKS again for sharing your expertise!
I tend to use cardstock for making the layered designs and for card bases, but if I am doing backgrounds in a shadow box or on a card then I like to use patterned scrapbook paper for a bit more visual interested to the design :)
I use "tacky glue" by Tonic Studios and also a similar one from Anitas. In the USA some popular choices are Art Glitter Glue or Bearly Glue (I don't know if that's how you spell it!).
It's not a feature; they are images in Cricut Access. To find them, click Images and then "Image Sets", then in the Image Set search box type "continuous" and it will show the image sets.
@@jonibates7025 Oh no! They should be there when you search in image sets specifically (not the normal image search). The set is called "Continuous Line Drawings" and then there are lots of sets/collections to choose from.
I've just tried and they don't come up for me either, but if you do a search in "Image Sets" for "Draw Cut Continuous Line Drawings" then the whole collection will appear :)
Lovely!
Glad you like them :)
Oh my goodness! I learned so much from just this one video, thank you 🤩🤩🤩
Yay! That's what I love to hear :) I'm glad that you enjoyed it

They certainly could :) Thanks for commenting!

I love watching the Cricut draw! It's so relaxing :D
Love these thank you. I'd love to learn how to make the envelopes for these
I tend to buy premade envelopes as it's easier :) Design space has many envelope templates under "Images" though.

Thank you for the inspiration. Much appreciated.

Hello loved the video :) can you show how to cut the continuous piece please ?

@@CraftWithSarah Thank you! I really appreciate you taking the time to answer my question and for sharing your expertise!
Sarah
You recommended a precise glue for intricate work but I can’t find where it is? Can you remind me please?
I use "tacky glue" by Tonic Studios and also a similar one from Anitas. In the USA some popular choices are Art Glitter Glue or Bearly Glue (I don't know if that's how you spell it!).
Thank you so much for such detailed tutorials I just have one question I’m new to all of this is each layer cut separately on mat or all at once ?
Each colour of cardstock is cut on a separate mat. :)
What type of Cricut did you use to make this?
I used the Maker but you could use the Explore Air 2 too.
I can't get the continuous line feature in design space. How do I do that?
It's not a feature; they are images in Cricut Access. To find them, click Images and then "Image Sets", then in the Image Set search box type "continuous" and it will show the image sets.
I did but I got no results :(

I've just tried and they don't come up for me either, but if you do a search in "Image Sets" for "Draw Cut Continuous Line Drawings" then the whole collection will appear :)
