Great how to play video, Rodney. My wife and I played this over the weekend and really like it. This is a really good gateway level game (as is its easy to learn and play) but has some really enjoyable gameplay. It has some similar elements to Spice Road as you may be all geared up to travel to a site and get that 20 point then card then an opponent gets there first and takes the card right before you...argh!!! But that also makes it fun to play.

I got this game gifted to me by my daughter and son-in-law. As they couldn't be with us to break the ice on the game, we had a look at your video to get the hang of the game. Clear and concise - thank you so much. What made our first game even better was my middle daughter (who is not a particular fan of board games) ended up winning. (And none of us knew who was going to win until we added up the scores at the end.)
There are some synergies with Ticket to Ride which I love. Will definitely be playing again (and checking out your channel too).

Pretty similar to National Parks, but I do like instead of the red cards that were used with the tents, you use the bonus points over the 2 farthest to the right. I like that much better. And you don't just get 1 point for each pebble and whoever has the most of that color gets the bonus points, you keep track of them in your suitcase. I like that much better as well. Thanks for the review. I'll be on the hunt for this one.

A quick question regarding claiming the most souvenirs cards. It doesn't specify in the rules what happens to the card if there is a draw with for example the red souvenirs.
Is there an actual way to play it?
Would you suggest just to put it back next to the board and in the end no-one gets it?
Or should the competing players with the most souvenirs share the points?

I guess the update is to correct the rule that you place your trekker on the board as the first step in setup, before other elements, such as souvenir cubes and destination cards are revealed. I played this wrong the first couple time I played. We placed our trekkers at the end of setup. Honestly, I prefer that way. I don't really understand why you place them first, with absolutely no information to go on. I guess that there could be an advantage gained by knowing what is already on the board if you are the first player to get to place your trekker, but that's part of strategy. You can pick who is the start player randomly anyway. I don't know, that feels unintuitive to me.

Hello Rodney...we played this game tonight. A question...is it allowed to trade cards between players? I feel the answer is a no but my husband insists as it doesn't say one can't in the rules it should be allowed, if mutually agreed.
