  • Lockdown's not getting any easier. The Covid-19 Pandemic continues. So, in a fit of boredom Ed spills the beans and reveals how his world-famous homemade Steak Pie Soup is made (I'm just making this up as I go along). Step-by-step instructions, with chat about the difficulties of lockdown and social distancing, the perils of cheap lavalier microphones, and a small clue about the next video. And at the end of it all we have a delicious warming bowl of 'soup'.

The strange thing about this so-called 'soup' is it is very very tasty. Maybe see you on a bus some day. Take care.

Love a Brownings Kilmarnock Pie myself with chips gravy and peas with it. Never thought it to make soup with it. Each to their own.

A brilliant recipe and one I'll try when I can next buy a Kilmarnock pie. Reminded me of a dessert that an Australian called Bryce introduced me while travelling around Oz, when perishable food is at risk of going off in hours. Custard on Digestive biscuits.

Hi Eddy, now that’s a totally new idea, steak pie soup! I can just imagine it being nice and thick with the pastry, beef, mushrooms & gravy. Have to give it a try!
I can relate to your experience at the checkout counter, there’s always someone annoying around, particularly in these frustrating times!
Hope you will soon be on your way to an outdoor adventure, with more than 1000 subscribers!
Take care Eddy and stay safe,
    best regards, Rob.
