Erin Molan addresses Paul Barry’s departure from Media Watch

- Sky News host Erin Molan has addressed ABC Media Watch host Paul Barry’s announcement he will be departing the national broadcaster later this year.
“The memory of yours I'll treasure the most … I think it was when you took a swipe at my late, great dad for plugging his book on my show a couple of times, implying this was somehow dodgy or motivated by greed,” Ms Molan said.
“Completely unaware - because you didn't ask - that all proceeds of it went to charity.”

Just to be clear…if you did your homework you would know that Media Watch is “independent” of the ABC…but is shown on the ABC and it also criticises the ABC and other news outlets including newspapers….and various other news sites…really….you need to learn…GIYF..it was called Media Watch..The Last Word..back in 1989 with Stewart Littlemore…the information about being independent of the ABC is on Media Week website..ABC website…TVTonight website and TV Blackbox website…in Barry’s absence they have used other ABC presenters.
@@CatsandJP could you please explain why you say that Media Watch is independent of the ABC. It seems widely reported that Paul Barry is employed by the ABC for many years. Is that not the case that he is employed and paid by the public broadcaster? I fondly remember Littlemore's time in the chair.
