F-15C and SU-27SM before F-18

@@Vizabrine finnish only used the f18c so you will have to wait a bit more even after the f18 has been added
they dont like SU-24 F/A-18 and MiG-31 i hope they will be added at some point.
it is indeed a Su 27 SM the IRST pod is on the right of the cockpit as shown in the photo
So gaijin uploaded a new devblog with a image of f15 shooting an AIM 120
First thing i noticed is the different skin, but this is not enough to confirm a new f15
Second thing i noticed is a button like thin on the nose.
In irl f15a variants didnt had these buttons, but f15c/d had it.
In game all the f15 (japan, usa, israel) dont have this button thingy
so possible new variant of f15 leak?

I’ve been saying it since they didn’t give the F15A the full MSIP package, (engines, radar, BOL pods etc). They want to make money off of this, and if you have to grind a whole new plane, chances are you’re buying premium time, maybe even a premium plane. Luckily, as an Israel main who has every plane in the tree (no premiums), all I have to do is research the Derby and I can use the Barak to grind out they new F15, which will hopefully have the Python 3. (It did IRL) and I want to have Pythons with HMD (all F15Cs have HMD). Best of luck grinding out new vehicles 🫡
The F-15J is based on the F-15C, therefore I would not expect a new japanese variant. Instead, I am more leaning towards the J becoming 12.7 BR.
The J in game is the early production wariant wich is basicly A so no it cant take fox 3

MAT forgot to mention the Su-27SM is also able to fire AGMs KH-29TE should be possible maybe even the KH-38 depending what batch of the plane it is.

@@brendensmithmusic278 Legacy Hornet was designed to replace A-4's and A-7's... Strike Aircrafts of the Navy and to compliment F-14's and i think it might also replace the Phantoms but not sure about the Phantoms
Super Hornet on the other hand is way larger and is what replaced F-14's and stuff
Super Hornet and Legacy Hornet are like MiG-29 vs SU-27 ( or more like SU-30/33 Naval versions of Su-27 )
Jumping from the normal variants to modren ones is just the most gaijin thing to do

jumping to the modern variant would be adding the su-35 and the f15ex

1- Su-27S radar can be "upgraded" (an bypass mod) to use R-77 missiles
2- (for who it's thinking that russian bias it's back) Su-27SM it's only an Su-27S mid life upgrade that gives new partial glass cockpit for su-27s and upgraded ground capabilities, no new engines, no new radar(N001V only difference is the multitrack capabilities), no new FCS, nothing, it's the same heavy and old 1985 Su-27 with new screens and a shit R-77 (a missile with low range, high drag and easy to dodge)
Funny thing, all isreali f15 radars passed the f15A for isreal come with hmd. Isreal is one of the only nations with f15 thay have hmd. Isreal actually made the hmd that US uses as it is the american interperation of the isreali hmd
I looked it up and it doesn’t say anywhere that the HMD was made by Israel and adapted by the US. The US developed their own tech and HMD???

If you have The F16C or Mig-29smt will have ARM as well
f15a could actually fire aim120 there was an upgrade program where they upgraded f15a and c to be capable firing aim120. all of the c variants got upgraded but for the A variant there was a small amount cause it was to expensive

The F15A in the game is an MSIP because the og F15A doesnt even have flares or aim7s or Aim9ms

So does that mean the American planes like tuebadf will be getting aim 120. It is literally part of the load out not to mention the first aim120 were out way before there Russian counter arts I'm pretty sure by 10 years
They should have added R-77 to MiG-29SMT at 12.7 and left Su-27 without R-77. Same with F-16C & F-15; could have introduced Fox 3s to underperforming aircraft with lower loadouts (AV-8B+, FA2 Sea Harrier, Tornado ADV, MiG-29SMT or YAK-141 bumped up to 12.3) first to give a good tradeoff between heavyweight fighters with lots of missiles & fuel and otherwise underperformning fighters. I would have loved to see a J-10A with PL-12 and Mitsubishi F-2A with AAM-4 introduced this update, while keeping the J-11 and F-15J armed with R-27s & AIM-7s for now.

i think they should add R-73's and R-77's to Yak-141 or... add a copy paste Yak-141 that comes with R-77's for higher BR's while giving R-73's to the old Yak-141 and keeping it a smaller BR then R-77 version

I hope fox 3 will be realistic as to not be able to be defeated by ground clutter like fox 1s
Ground clutter still affects Fox 3 to some extent I think
Why would ground clutter not affect Fox-3's? Early Fox-3's have bad sensors and guidance. They also still have to be guided by the aircraft they were shot from until they are close to the target and activate their own radar, so they would still be affected by ground clutter. Main factor would be the aircraft's radar.
@@lurtzy_ they shouldn't be nearly as affected by ground because the missiles and aircraft use PD radars. The issue is that the PD radars in game aren't coded properly and can't track targets that are under 100-200m altitude.

The F-15C is already in the Game that being the F-15J. Also why dont they add the XF-2A. Its about time and they should add it before it gets outclassed(I know the F-2A is the one after it)

It's just a thumbnail for showing the coming FOX-3 Missiles. Don't really think the F-15C would be arriving, so don't get excited Mat, even the F-15A can take the AMRAAM, and yes you are mistaken F-15A and F-15B DID use AMRAAM missiles.
Just did research and you are right. In the MSIP Updates they replaced the AN/APG-63 with a PSP version that gave it TWS and the ability to fire AMRAAMs. However unlike the F-15C it does NOT have HMD of any kind though and the AN/APG-63(V)-1 for the F-15C is a far better radar overall.
Saying that like they didn't go from the Block 10/15 F16A to the F16C Block 50

Actually, F15 A had MSIP modification that made them carry amraam. But only few A variant were upgraded.

@@francoarca2122 not to mention the little nose button on the f15 which isn’t present on any f15a in the game but was present on the f15c irl. contrary to what he said i think we are getting a decent amount of new top tier aircraft. some countries need them to have fox3 compatibility. the f15c and su27sm are basically confirmed, and i believe we could see an f18a+ added to, since the f18 rolled out before the fox3s were made as well as june being a “navy” centered update the last two years

Adding first gen F-15/Su-27 wasn't by mistake, your going to have to grind/suffer that first.
Except there is a major chance you won’t. First gen F-15As got AMRAAM/AIM-120s when they got the MSIP Update. Two of the major updates were upgrades to the AN/APG-63 radar with PSP, and avionics to support the AIM-120s.
Took them a while to cook up that Russian bias
Just be happy you can fire missiles and go cold, Aim-120As and R-77s aren't that good. But you can always fire a 120 and go cold.
Plus the Flankers FM is still nerfed and Gaijin is keeping it that way.
The f15A we have ingame should have fox3 missiles. It used the psp radar

@@gtmike916 tbh 70% it is the f4f ice, they deny germany getting a sub tree and denied the EF2000 for obvious reasons so yeah i doubt they will slap r77s on the current mig29g since it didn't use them

As a Japanese main, DONT GIVE JAPAN AAM4s. They are far to advanced for the game currently. The only way to add it correctly would be to heavily nerf it. Just give it base aim120s

I dont think new su27 and f15 is a far guess bcz thats what happened with the mig29 and f16
They added an early variants then later they added the newer ones same goes for the f14 idk but i think this dumb but probably easier for the devs bcz this modules isnt easy to make and takes much time but if its true then 100% the major update after this on have new vehicles like f18 and rafale etc.

At least? The balance of top tier is already precarious at best. I'd much rather they take their time and develop these new systems properly than just do what they used to do and pump unfinished content. Not to mention there are other much more pressing issues that need to be fixed for top tier before we get more aircraft.

Japan gets the AAM-4 thats comparable to the AIM-120C1 or R-77M, so Japan gets better missiles than the rest.

Second, the R77M is compared with the AIM-120D and the Meteor, how the fuck did you come to the conclusion that a missile of Is 1999 compared to a missile that today is compared to the best missiles in operation? this is logic...
