BIG MISS: Pink Himalayan salt covers sodium and chloride but you also need to add the MORE important electrolytes - potassium citrate (need at least 3,500 mg daily) and magnesium glycinate (absorbs well, calming, sleep, anxiety, anti-inflammatory, supports blood sugar, no laxative effect) or magnesium citrate (good for nocturnal leg cramps, constipation, absorption, helps prevent headaches) (need 400-420 mg men and 310-320 women daily)

Wrong. Potassium and magnesium are not more important electrolytes than sodium. You need 5x more sodium than potassium and over 15x more than magnesium when trying to replenish electrolytes lost during a workout.

My mistake, the 5:1 ratio of sodium to potassium is actually for ppl on a ketogenic diet. 3:2 is the correct ratio for a standard diet.

Thus, honey hurts my teeth, and Himalayan Salt is just a tad too fancy for our house. I'll look up the granulated sugar equivalent for the honey measurement. A pickle juice flavor would be ideal for me, but I know most can't understand the appeal. lol Paz y salud.
