  • Hey guys it's DanRobzProbz here and this is a few more hidden/secret blocks I've found using the UME(universal minecraft editor)
My favourites are the glowing obsidian & the nether reactor core due to the special drops you get from them when mined in survival mode.
For the modding of the blocks I used this FREE AMAZING Program:-

Glowing obsidian and reactor core are used for nether. Back in the day phones didn't have power to support nether dimension. So By crafting reactor core you can make a small size tower made out of neither block. Inside there are loots and zombie pigmen spawn. Glowing obsidian become normal obsidian as soon as summoning the instant nether end. So simply Old pocket edition instant neither summoning block. Good old memories : )

    1. Kill enderdragon
    2. Find portal to end city
    3. Break bedrock ABOVE portal
    4.summon wither above portal
    5. When wither explodes you get the end gateway
    How to use:
In the end it will teleport you underneath the end
In the over world it’s solid and thus nothing.
So the block is kinda pointless :(

The glowing obsidian and the Nether Reactor core are both from pocket edition. The nether didn't exist a few years back so there was a structure you could build that spawned in a "Nether Fortress" It was essentially a Netherack Castle with instantly hostile Zombie Pigmen. It was built with gold blocks nether reactor core and cobblestone. When you ignite it the cobblestone and gold become glowing obsidian for a short time. The nether reactor core has recently been retextured. It previously had an appearence similar to the chiseled quartz, but with its current color palate. Another fun fact is that there are three different existing textures for the nether reactor core as far as i can remember. There is one where it glows red like the glowing obsidian, and one after it stops glowing which is a deep blue/black with a circular texture and i have absolutely no proof that it exists. They should be accessible on an android device with pocketinveditor pro. you just need to modify the item damage on the reactor core.

The reactor core was crafted like this:
    Iron Diamond Iron
    Iron Diamond Iron
    Iron Diamond Iron
The Reactor Core needed 3 diamonds and 6 Iron to be crafted, that is a reference to that, and if you put the plastic texture on and place the reactor core you will see it's original texture.
The block was in the first versions of Minecraft PE, it generated a Nether Styled structure with unpeacufull pigman zombies and a lot of glowstone, quartz, sugar cane, paintings, gold, etc. spawned, and you were inside netherack, the block was removed when the Nether was added to that version, so it was ussles to conservate the reactor core
(When you breaked the block it didn't drop iron and diamonds, i know all of this because i played the original Minecraft PE, and the glowing obsidian is when the experience is almost going to end, after that, some netherrack will break and the glowing obsidian will be NORMAL obsidian).

  • @1JimmyJazz

the nether reactor core was part of the OG Minecraft nether, basically you put 9 cobble in a 3x3 grid, then gold blocks on the outer edge with the nether reactor core in the middle, next you put another 9 cobble in a 3x3 grid on top, lastly you smack the nether reactor and this giant box thing made out of netherack was spawned, you had to fight the pigmen and gather stuff the spawned on the floor like quartz. also the obsidian that you saw, the nether reactor would slowly turn into that obsidian while you were inside. like if you remember those days!

The Nether Reactor was a structure you made to spawn in a huge tower of netherrack and spawn in zombie pigmen and other nether items like quartz you built it with cobblestone gold and the nether reactor core. When activated it would turn into glowing obsidian and the tower would spawn and after a few seconds the glowing obsidian would turn into obsidian (So you'd Loose Your Gold) and the netherrack tower would remain. This was before the nether was implemented into poket!

ah, someone who doesn't know of the nether reactor! now I can use my 2010 knowledge. Basically if you built a certain pattern (which includes the nether reactor), it will create a chunk of nether. It will also turn all blocks from the pattern except for the reactor into the glowing obsidian, spew nether-based items everywhere, and spawn pigmen. after the block is done doing it's thing, it either turned into glowing obsidian or disappeared or something, I don't exactly remember the end of it. im pretty sure the glowing obsidian also disappeared.
EDIT: I think the full block end portal is the portal to warp you to the far-out end islands, and it's a solid block since you can't touch it in-game, and you have to throw an ender pearl. Also wondering if it will warp you to the end if you throw a pearl into it or if it would crash your game or something.

I remember when I first got minecraft. we didn't know what the nether cores did so we used them for decoration. then our friends told us what they did and how to do it. if you built a certain structure with them then activate them with a diamond it would spawn in a netherrack castle and then items would spawn all over the ground, then zombie-pigmen would spawn. this was how you got glowstone and netherrack. the reason they didn't just add the nether is because the tablets and/or phones back then couldn't process two different worlds on the same world.

the nether reactor cor was used to spawn a mini nether in the overworld back in the old days of pe when they couldnt add the actual nether, you would make a structure out of cobblestone, gold, nether reactor core, and i think obsidian, when you left click the nether reactor cor, the obsidian (might be the cobblestone) would turn into glowing obsidian.

  • @leninmckay3144
    @leninmckay3144 Pƙed 3 lety

Btw the nether core reactor would be surrounded by obsidian and gold, and once you clicked on it you would get a “nether hut” it would spawn items such as rotten flesh, gold and sugar cane, along with spawning zombie pig-men and zombies. This was implemented into pocket addition prior to the nether being in pocket addition.

The reactor core was used in like pocket edition before we had the nether. It would spawn a huge base thing that had glow stone pigman and all other stuff u would find in the nether. They have received to block but I had put it down in my game before hand and it’s still there so it’s a really rare block now and it’s even more rare if u still have one of those bases if your server.

This block is so special because if you do a strange sculpture (that you can found in CZcams), it teleports to you a part of the nether that gives you glowston, netherock, sugar bars, pumpkins and pigmans, and, the blocks of the sculpture, transform into the red obsidian.
This block existed on Minecraft pocket when there weren’t nether portals

Reactor cores were used to enter the 'old nether' wich was a I beleave 8x8 (probably wrong) cube wich was made of Glowing obsidian (I think) wich was full of random items and around 4 pigmen,in the middel you wold have the strucuture that you have to make using the reactor core,to exit the 'old nether' you had to break out,it didnt tp you out,you would just have a cube made of glowing obsidian in your world.

That blue and strange block is a the modern texture of the Nether Reactor that was replacing the Nether a lot time ago when there was not Nether yet. When the Nether was added, the Nether Reactor was no longer useful, so the developers thought that you could receive the diamonds it costs creating again, because it was not longer useful.

  • @Grace_From_Alpha_and_Omega

When you use the nether reactor core all the items used to activate it will turn into glowing obsidian after you use it. Now the nether reactor core does absolutely nothing but decorate your house. The reactor core was used to make a nether-like structure made from netherrack (older version used obsidian) that will spawn some nether exclusive items and other random items, it will also spawn hostile zombie-pigmen and turn your world into night time.

The nether reactor core would summon a recreation of the nether, it would summon mobs from the nether and items from the nether aswell, the nether reactor core would go through 3 stages, the first stage, which is normal, the second stage where it would become red, and the stone and gold surrounding it would turn into glowing obsidian, and lastly it would turn black and the glowing obsidian would change to normal obsidian

The core and glowing obsidian were exclusive to the pocket edition when the nether was first added. The core would make one chunk entirely out of the netherrack, glowing obsidian, and occasionally glow stone. The core was activated by a structure of cobblestone and gold. To craft it was 6 iron ingots and 3 diamond in columns having diamonds in the middle.

Nether reactor core creates a nether like world in the overworld to allow objects like quartz to be in the survival game mode. It could only be used in a pattern. To spawn a giant tall open rectangular cube.
    Made of netherack.
It would destroy your pattern. And spawn quartz and glowstone and nether wart and more but also summoned pigmen and blazes. Etc.
