@@mrbubbly287 You're a delusional fanboy. If you have any clue what you're watching you can see that Adesanya is clearly on a different level of striking than Silva ever was. First of all, it's a 100% thoroughly proven fact that the sport of MMA has drastically evolved and improved in competition by leaps and bounds over the past 20 years. The very rudimentary past era guys that Silva beat are utterly pathetic compared to the insane, godly level of competition that Adesanya is dominating. Their resumes aren't even close. Adesanya already has dwarfed Silva's resume due to the quality of his opposition. Adesanya also has yet to experience humiliating fights where he gets exposed... like when Silva got dominated for 5 rounds by Chael fucking Sonnen, who's a so-so fighter, or when Silva got knocked the fuck out and then dominated again in the rematch by Chris Weidman who was an excellent fighter but then quickly got surpassed by the next wave. Adesanya is easily beating the wave of fighters that beat the wave of fighters that beat Weidman who was the fighter who surpassed and exposed Silva. Oh, one other thing, of the utmost significance: Adesanya's striking prowess is objectively proved by his insanely high level and extensive/veteran *kickboxing record* and the fact that he reached championship level in the greatest kickboxing organization in the world, Glory Kickboxing. Silva has no pure striking/kickboxing credentials of any note, certainly nothing even the tiniest fraction of a pure kickboxing accomplishment like that. Every expert in striking on the planet will agree with me and tell you that Adesanya is better than Silva.

Not stopping it there would have been kinda okay if he was ahead on the scorecards but Gastelum had no chance of winning that fight outside of a robbery at that point. Izzy and him were tied going into the fifth but all them knockdowns made that arguably a 10-8.

This is a man that makes himself rich in opportunities so he never has to cash in on any particular one of them like most fighters would. He'll stun his opponent and instead of exploding for the finish he'll just pull back and do a little dance move and do it all over again until he's ready to end it. Remarkable! I can only conclude that time must move slower for him. His kind of graceful casual preparedness makes me think he knows what's coming before his opponent has even decided what to do. Maybe he really does have anime powers, lol.
