I think that Sam Houston QB might be the toughest dude I’ve ever seen, dudes an absolute monster, he got slammed into the ground, and hit to the point he was coughing blood and kept playing great, injured his ankles 3 or 4 times and KEPT running it as fast as he could, by the end he was doing flips over people trying to win. Dudes goated..
I feel they should have given out two MVP trophies.
I think this is among the most exciting games in FCS history. Congrats to Sam Houston!

SDSU RB Isaiah Davis had 14 carries for 178 yards 3 TDs, Returned four kicks for 114 yards, and caught a 13 yard pass! 305 yards total

What a great game! As a fan of College Football in general, this has been such a treat this season. I have said it every week in case anyone important is watching: PLEASE KEEP FCS IN THE SPRING! Such great football that is often overlooked and relegated to the "ticker" on the screen on ESPN. The nation needs to see these teams. These hard working and exceptional young players deserve the increased exposure for future professional opportunities. Thank you very much to this channel for your hard work and allowing us to see these games that we otherwise could not. Cheers!
The NCAA needs to move the entire FCS schedule to the spring. This was an amazing season, and Sam Houston brought home a national title to the Southland conference. We need to see more of this. Make it happen NCAA.
I agree 100%. These teams should play in the Spring. And they should have other Divisions on the west Coast and Florida play in the Winter- February and March. College football has so many Great teams to watch- throwing them all together in the Fall does not allow the Networks to cover all the games. What a waste of wonderful Entertainment. College football should be on TV YEAR ROUND !!!!!!
Disagree with this. It will put a strain on the staff and I mean the media relations department because the maximum for most is about four people handling 15-17 sports. And this spring, all of the sports took place at the same time and it was overload for them.

And Next season be prepared to have a strong NDSU team back. They had 2 of their best defensive players sitting out this season and anther freshman QB coming in (along with Cam Miller, who’s impressed me this season) who will be very good.

With the way South Dakota st running back played I think there’s no way they lose this game if their starting QB wasn’t hurt....and I like Sam Houston more but the way SDSU came back with no QB
Congrats to Sam Houston on winning your first national title in what has to be the weirdest, craziest season in history. I’ll be waiting to see what happens next season with this team, since many of the players for Sam Houston will be coming back, and NDSU will have plenty of reason to come back and play for another title.

Anyone else hearing North Dakota State's name being announced instead of South Dakota State a couple of times? It's like they are so accustomed by now of NDSU playing and winning every championship game for the past 10 years they can't help it. Sam Houston is the luckiest team in the FCS. Two comebacks in a row. None the less. What a great season for them. Congrats.
SDSU lacked passing plays. I felt like they over used #22 Isaiah Davis. Sam Houston created offensive opportunities through running, passing and a field goal which ultimately led them to the victory. Both teams played their hearts out though and are both champions in my book.

To me the biggest difference was SDSU was scared to throw the ball down the field. Sam Houston was slinging it down the field in those conditions that were hard on both teams and took advantage.
