I bought all the upgrades for the VAMP and it came to just under 200.00, totally worth it. I do enjoy Gridirons upgrades.
I love the Gridiron add-ons. They are so well designed and detailed. My age did catch up with me a little the other day though. I was admiring my Gridiron improved VAMP the other day, when I realized how much it would suck getting in and out of that thing with those side accessories mounted on it. My old knees and back would be completely uncooperative! I'd have to crawl out of that thing to dismount. Lol!
I agree with you about the age thing. I would grab the top of the door frame and try to swing into the seat but would probably fail and injure myself and have to be carried out.
I once knew a guy who put over $100,000 in after market parts into a Supra. I thought he was nuts. Its now 2024 and Here I am buying all these upgrades for my Vamp. LOL. I kinda wish I got more them 2, although I just know Hasbro's going to do a Stinger, Tiger Force, Night Force, etc etc version.
I haven’t pulled the trigger on this upgrade yet, but with what I have ordered; door gunner, roll cage, shielded mini gun, rear seat and platform, there’s more money in them than in the vehicle itself. Now they just have to arrive so I don’t have to be jealous of the CZcamsrs who’ve already received their upgrades.
That’s the hard part for me as well .. they take a minute to ship about 2 weeks, they’ve been busy

I have the pixis designs roof and doors. They are awesome and I got them.
I got my Gridiron Shielded Vehicle Mount Minigun 489A today, now I'm waiting for the roof set next. I'll get the two side sets next month.
The only problem with the Grid Iron shotgun is that it’s a pump action. The Classified junk shotgun that came with the Vamp, Cover Girl and General Hawk is a semi auto. As a driver, which would be easier to shoot on the move? But as you said, they are just toys!

VAMP turret is remote fired so shield is not needed but yeah other GI Joe vehicles are pretty much coffins.

The amount of detail they put into their products is just crazy. I'm living vicariously through you at the moment. I'm trying to figure out what mods/add ons I want to get for mine (to be honest I want'em all😂 but can't do it)

The detail IS crazy. That's the thing that some people "conveniently" never mention when they're griping about the prices. Are the prices relatively high, yes, but you're getting products that go well beyond the current average 3D aftermarket add-on companies for Classified. At least that's how I see it. I love what Gridiron is doing!
@Blitz0065 Me too but like 209edd said I'm on a toy diet as well space is becoming a problem as qell as preorders hitting and doing a number on my wallet,but definitely will be doing some add ons for my Vamp with Gridiron Studios and some pixis designs accessories.
@@4feathers Space is the collector's greatest enemy! It will limit you faster than your bank account. I too suffer from the same battle! Hopefully you're able to pick up a few things.
Where did you get the gatling gun?
I think that it’s the wall mounted mini-gun(stubby)from Gridiron.
