An Exciting Sail from Molokai to Nanahoa (aka 5 Needles) Anchorage on the Island of Lanai in Hawaii

After two days resting at Lono Harbor it was time to haul up and make way for the Island of Lanai. I enjoyed a very SPIRITED sail across the Kalohi Channel and arrived at the famous Needles (Nanahoa) anchorage on Lanai. I dropped the hook on the south side of the sea stacks as the wind held a steady 20 knots throughout the day (and night)

Lanai was one of my favorites. You have to dive cathedrals. it is the most amazing place I’ve ever dived. There is an underwater mooring ball. Also the harbor master Joelle was awesome.

Awesome episode!! Been watching the tracker everyday! Man you are going places! The drone footage rivals Erik Aandera up in Iceland! Lanai is stunning !! My son said " guys gota lot of tattoos ....thats cool." Our plan is to temp tattoo the whole family with Bob Ross tattoos for the sail to Valcour Island! ( In honor of all the James tatt trolls! )
