If you look over the bridge on Kelvin Way museum side facing West look down on the right side bank when the river isn’t too full you’ll see the remains of the original bridge which was blown up by a German bomb during an air raid in 1941. The right hand bronze statue has a small plaque with the date and states the statue was repaired. I knew a man whose grandmother had her windows blown out on the bottom corner tenement house on Sauchiehall Street/Radnor Street.
Yeah its just across from the Kelvinhall in the kinda dark path? Go halfway down and the fence changes from normal hip level black bars to a big jagged one with old steps and lost infrastructure from Old fishing boat days I believe. There's lots little parts like this along the Kelvin, just be safe! It's kind of dangerous and the waters are unpredictable as we recently seen with the poor women who was swept away during the summer floods 😓
