We stayed there a year plus ago - love Georgia’s state parks! We did a day trip to Savannah from Jack Hill Stare Park - loved Savannah too! What a good guy to be related too. Lucky for him too.

Sir Tom Hanks was in Toledo, OH filming his movie "A Man Called Otto" just last month. My uncle just missed meeting him by minutes Toledo PD got several photos with him and there all over the internet and news as you can imagine. The film was done at the local train station near downtown. Mr. Hanks is a very humble guy and one hell of an actor!!!

We stopped there overnight when travelling home from Florida one time. Had a great meal at Fiddler’s Crab House on River St, and watched the container ships heading out to sea. Walked most of the ‘squares’. Lots of beautiful architecture and history.

Silver Springs is one of my top five State Parks. Every site is very large and shaded. Plus you can go to several beautiful clear springs to swim at, like Ginnie Sprngs. 🧜🏼♀️🏕🤩

I hope people out there who talk about who their related to realize how much of a gift it is. As someone who was left at the hospital at birth I don't know what nationality I am let alone who my relatives are. I have spent the last 60 years thinking about those mystery's.

Love Savannah! Had my picture made in front of that same red phone booth. Hope you can make it over to Tybee Island. Went on a dolphin tour and saw so many dolphins!!! That is really cool as usual! Hubby and I went to 3 Buccee's on our roadtrip to Houston Raceway this weekend. All I could do was think of Carl saying "We are going to Buccee's".
Just spent last weekend in Savannah, it was so muggy and the heat index went up to 128! But we made the most of it, lots of history there. Great job on the parking!

Love state parks. Here in Texas it's hard to find full hookups, but at least the vast majority have dump stations. Having a towable honey-wagon makes it bearable.
Full hookup state parks are pretty common in the southern states (FL and GA)

That is my (Ney’s) old Kavu bag and I tried to find the same one for the Amazon page but can’t find the pattern!

I ordered the same pattern on the small purse and I’m thinking of getting the same pattern for the backpack because its the cheapest! I’ve even tried their webpage and its the same way…not too many of the patterns are available. Oh well… I’ll look for your pattern when I look for mine and I’ll let you know if I see it.

Savannah is such a cool city. We spent two days there when we drove thru last year. Took a couple tours, did the river cruise, walked all over. Will definitely be back for more sightseeing. Say hi to Tom for me.
