In Filipino, "bakod" literally means fences. In the context of relationships, it means putting up "fences" around your special someone to prevent others from getting close to them.
In this video, Yesh Bruce, playing Anna, tells a story of the time that Paolo got "bakod" around by Ian in-between takes. It's a cute little byproduct of Ian's "staying in character."
