  • Grady Sizemore played 8 years in Cleveland, hitting 139 HRs, accruing 27.8 WAR and making 3 All-Star games. Unfortunately for Sizemore, a rash of injuries cut his HOF-potential career short. However, he always remains a fan favorite in Cleveland.

My favorite player ever , with his injury history he was never going to get in the traditional way in terms of piling up back of the Topps card counting stats or cumulative WAR but if he could have put together 5 or 6 more years where he played even at just 75 - 80 % of the level he was at in his first 5 , he was that talented that there would have been serious discussion about whether he was a HOF’er , I truly believe that ; of course he would have had to win a WS for that to be a possibility , and those Cleveland teams with him , Hafner , V-Mart , Peralta , prime Casey Blake , not to mention young studs like Brandon Phillips , Shin Soo Choo , Asdrubal Cabrera , along with Sabathia , Cliff Lee , and The Man Formerly Known As Fausto Carmona at the front end of the rotation - if the Indians weren’t so GD cheap they should and could have won it all during those years …
