    Ford are making every other dual cab manufacturer raise the bar to keep up. The ranger looks super comfy for long drives. Hopefully you don't get any issues with the motor. Only time will tell how reliable they are, but the same can be said for any new car

      100% mate as I said in the video every new car has its issues but I’m hoping I don’t get any from this one let’s see what happens thanks for watching mate I appreciate it

    Great video mate. I like when people do their own thing and not listen to the negative BS. We got that a lot with the Triton and mines been 100 percent reliable. Good luck with your travels.

    The 2 ltr turbo’s are pretty good from what I have researched , they are known to blow the hose off the turbo occasionally . They do run a lot of boost.

    I have +28mm spacers and fitted 255 80 17 yokohoma x at on original raptor wheels which are 17x8.5 Without trimming and without lift kit. My 2023 2.0 bi turbo is a weekend car as well.I have an eye an trans oil gauge and it is always on the upper side.Didint had an warning but got it easiliy just righ under the orange first warning paranthese. I have an 2020 triton aswell with 285 75 17 km3s on method grid 309s without lift kit but some trimming cutting and a 2” body lift.I took both to the same tracks.Although ford has more ground clearance triton is superior to ranger in terms of off road capability and i think its because of rangers long wheelbase,weight and mitsus super select 2 system.

    How do you compare the ride/comfort between the y62 and ranger? Great content mate. Keep it up

    • @4x4CampingandAdventures
      @4x4CampingandAdventures  Před 8 měsíci +2

      Y62 is more comfortable but not by much honestly these rangers once a bit of weight is added to the back are very comfortable on the road of coarse the 62 was independent all round so it was more plush on the highway. I’ll see how it goes after some suspension work!

    All suited to the individual driver as to what u put on the 4wd, looking good brother, r u putting a catch can/2nd fuel filter/diff breathers/snorkel ??

      @4x4CampingandAdventures  Před 8 měsíci +2

      100% mate I agree with your comment, I’ll put some diff breathers and a snorkel on eventually but for now they would be unnecessary for the camping I’m doing.

    I have done the same but y62 to a next gen raptor and the only thing i think isnt as good is space inside and the 4wding side with clearance as 62 was way better but everything else the raptor chops the 62

    • @4x4CampingandAdventures
      @4x4CampingandAdventures  Před 8 měsíci

      Yeah can’t beat a 62 for clearance that IFS setup is amazing for that but some 35s and a 2 inch lift the raptor will go anywhere

      @@4x4CampingandAdventures Yeah, the 2024 Triton looks to be more equivalent to the benchmark brands like Toyota and Ford. It would ne nice to see you on a journey with one given your history and experience with Mitsubishi, albeit a much more primitive model than the upcoming 2024 model. Your Mitsubishi drew me to your channel. It's nice to see people get enthusiastic about models and brands that every man and his dog doesn't have. I'm betting that unless the new Mitsubishi has unforseen issues, it will do really well sales wise. The new wider stance looks good and brings it up to expectations people have of a modern ute.
