Thanks for the walkthrough.. I ordrered one and the first thing I did was to cut off all the metallic zipper pulls and replaced them with paracord and shrink tube.. the metallic jangle was too much :)
13” MacBook Pro M1 fits in the laptop/tablet sleeve. Started using this bag a week ago and added a vanquest mole pouch on one end…love it. Very well made and very comfortable to carry. I love the “custom” build options on the website. Bespoke sling bag. Nice review keep it up!
Yup. Best bag I own and still my daily driver when not traveling.

Bit of trivia for you. I went to Alnwick In Northumberland this week and went into Barter bookshop. They have an original Keep Calm and Carry on poster on their wall.
One of the biggest used and rare bookshops in the U.K. Barter books found in 2000 one of the Original Keep calm and carry on posters at the bottom of a box of books and started reproducing the image and thus started the Keep Calm and Carry On and has become one of the most recognisable images in the world.

I love this bag and the MCB colorway! I'm a slightly above average woman around 5'7 and 125lbs, so I think this would swamp me. It looks huge. If you know of any women who have tried it and thought it was ok...
You could use a Blackhawk speed clip or a vanquest molle stick to secure the sidepouch

It took me a while since (first) seeing this review but I finally got a Metromonger, Klint. I don't know what is wrong with me; I usually follow-up faster on your recommendations. At least I finally got around to it though. :)
P.S. Yeah, I'll admit it...I watch some of your reviews more than once. When you are wandering out near Austin, Tx, you've got a friend out here and a beer or two, too.

Sometimes, I can get so 'wordy' that my meaning gets lost somewhere. Sorry. I think it is a killer sling, Klint. I was hoping that you would do a comparison of it against the big Defy sling actually. I know they have some differences but they have a lot of similarities, too and I think that the MM can hold its own pretty well against the Insidious.
Oh, and by the way, a 13" Mabook Air fits barely without too much pressure on the zipper in the laptop section but it fits fine if you put it in the middle section and it won't impact the zipper there. It isn't as well padded but it will fit! :)
Metromonger beside bigger capacity compare to Metrorunner to house more EDC and a compartment for tablets.. it's sling strap actually can be remove and replace with other straps available from their store. This also allows the bag to suit both left or right sling orientation. My friend's son borrow my Metromonger from me for his school project as his camera bag sling snap and can't get replacement at night. He usually swings his bag and access with his left hand so this metrorunner strap function can be remove and configurate to his style of carrying. Also this Metromonger works well with the large camera kit cube pouch with Velcro dividers from Greenroom 136 enabling him to hold his camera and accessories neatly. He also attach his camera stand via 2 compression straps sew at the bottom of the bag. He enjoy using this bag and his dad order 2. 😂😃

@@ThePerfectBag Mixed reviews on Amazon, do you endorse it? I use the Iphone 14 Pro Max which is still lighting but, wish there was a USB-C adapter, or is there?
No usb c adaptor. I really like it for sure - it's never failed and I like the novelty of it. Butttttttt I stupidly updated to an iPhone 15 and now my lightning cords are useless. They haven't made this cord in other models and I've emailed them and DMd a lot :)

It weighs right at about 2 lbs... with some variance depending on buckles and straps you choose.
