Over the years i've collected various pieces of rolling stock with the intention of weathering it, repairing it or giving it a general make-over.
But there's so much now that i can't decide what to work on for the next video.
So have a watch, and if there's anything that you'd particularly like to see, leave a message in the comments and i'll make a list

The Chaldrons would certainly be interesting perhaps some peeling paint🤔 Cheers Steve
Thanks Steve. They’re definitely on the shortlist
Great video. Would love to see the class 59, yellow class 08, class 47’s & the grey DMU restoration👍🏻
Noted! Thank you
you certainly got a stash the yellow 08 would be good but any of them including wagons would be good to watch thanks for sharing
Thanks 👍
The Tyseley Connection pack would be pretty cool for a special. Doing the loco and coaches in one long video Or splitting it into a few episodes.
Coming soon! 👍🏼
For me the RFD 47s, the Freightliner 08 and Yellow 08
The Peckett and Chaldron wagons
And as per my Instagram comment…that stunning little Ruston 😊😊😊
That’s quite a list there 😂. But I think that one or 2 of them may be quite high on the list
@@BuntersYard just trying to keep you busy :p
You have done a lot of tankers and wagons this year so how about starting with a few steamers (different colours) But YOU HAVE TO DO THE TERRIER. Look forward to all you do Thx
Good point 👍🏼
Don't tempt me with those Bachmann EWS wagons. lol Would love to see you do a video on the BR Blue Class 6 or the GWR train pack as well. :)
I’ve got 12 of the EWS wagons! I had big plans 🥴
I’ll put the other locos on the list
Would be interesting to see the extremely yellow diesel shunter with some extreme weathering.
I’ve already started on that one and put it aside for now, but I think I’ll get it finished pretty soon. Luckily I recorded the first parts
That sounds good, I definitely think that both the yellow diesels need to be toned down, they look so much better when they're in a more used condition.
Definitely agree!
You could do the 0-6-0 shunter with a rake of oil vans is it was used at a refinery? Could be interesting 🤔
Yes I think I have an oil tank or 2!
Quite a stash, no wonder I can't get much on eBay these days 🤣
Yeah sorry about that. I was a bit out of control for a while 😂
@@BuntersYard haha me to. My collection started in summer, got some great bargains. Just finishing rebuilding a mazak'd t9.
Have you noticed how prices are alot higher now?
@@BuntersYard got a starter airbrush for £40 on Amazon deals last week. Any chance you could do a little introduction lesson, like I read about having to clean but do you really have to do this every time you change colours? Seems a bit silly perhaps but I'm lazy when it comes to cleaning, I'd rather do the paint 🎨 🙂
I did this a while back. Might be useful…

I think it would be interesting to watch literally any of those getting the Bunters Yard treatment, but the Class 06, Ruston 48 and the Peckett with chaldrons immediately grabbed me
Thank you. Good choices
Nice to see you back, Oh Barron of the Oil Brush! 😁
Big old pile of toys to work through that's for sure!
That said, I've got the same Hornby Q1 - and mine still needs weathering too! - what do you think to doing a bit of a 'head to head'?
Or buffer to buffer..lol
A Medium to heavy weathering, reflective of a loco in its twilight years... ? What say you Mr B?
😁
Head to head? A live stream?
@@BuntersYard Live stream!
Mate, my internet connection wouldn't be able to cope!😁
But perhaps instead, maybe a "twin video" if that makes sense?
Showing how folks can use different methods to weather the same model, different approaches etc?
Not so much a case of "mine is dirtier than yours" but more of "Same coin, different side" if you will?
Yea sure. Are you in instagram? You could find me in there and message me then we can sort something out
@@BuntersYard I've got insta but don't really use it, I'll message you on Facebook if that's okay?
@@IronHorseRailways ok. Speak soon
Do the Bachmann containers!
Yes, i'm looking forward to them too
@@BuntersYard definitely one for this year!
Hey we’re already a couple of weeks into 2023! I’m feeling pressured now 😂😂
im obviously incredibly biased about you getting the 117 fixed and painted! I'd like to see what livery you put on it!
Coming soon!
Do you also do scenic weathering, I've been working on an old Hornby booking hall with the dogey stone walls, and just trying to make it a bit more life-like. Any tips on buildings?
I’ve got a few building videos planned. I’ll try to include some stone building too
@@BuntersYard I'm new to weathering but managed a good look with just adding black acrylic wash and a bit of stone coloured emulsion I had laying about
@@BuntersYard look forward to learning from the master thanks for that
@@BuntersYard I'd love to see that - I have a run-down quayside layout planned with lots of stone buildings so seeing your approach would be a big help
Pls do the Q1
The Q1 will be done for release in early Feb
@@BuntersYard can't wait
do you want to sell the bachmann green TTA tankers ? LOL
Haha! I did consider offering things in the box for sale, but I think I really still want to work on them all. You never know, it might be worth more once it’s weathered 😂
