How cool! Thank you for watching. We hope you'll enjoy your time here in the states! Since you'll be driving distance, be sure to try and visit DC, Williamsburg, & Charleston while you are here! Those are all amazing cities with lots of American history! You should also do a weekend beach trip (Wilmington area beaches like Carolina or Wrightsville) and a mountain trip (Blowing Rock or Asheville) while you are here!

Love the videos! We'd love recommendations on where younger families are residing in the triangle area, or suburbs? We have young kids, and currently in an older neighborhood with elderly people. They are nice, our kids just don't have many options for friends around. Thanks!

Hello great video, new sub. I moved to NC in September. We live in Holly Springs/Fuquay-Varina, it was rezoned.
We are interested in buying but the prices in this area is a bit out of hand and we can't find any builder with lots.

If we keep growing like this we will soon be up there with Cary NC as far as cost of housing is concerned. I been here since 2002 and frankly you would not recognize the same small town now vs then. It’s being overbuilt and it’s infrastructure can’t keep up with the growth, roads are crowded and the restaurants are overwhelmed.

Im going to move from sw Florida to mebane as housing and crime has gotten horrible in Florida and a lot of people here brought there miserable northeast attitude with them.

Is Mebane the closest thing to a New England small town in the triangle?Im from VT
I’ve never been to New England or Vermont but we did have someone come into town who had family in Vermont. He said Hillsborough reminded him of the small Vermont towns!
The center of the town is kinda cute with a few antique stores and such. There's a nice new park with dog enclosure, too. But get outside that 4x2 square block area,and we are a BOOMING town with a ridiculous number of houses going up in what used to be natural areas. This is the newest area folks are moving to for their commute to the cities only 15-30 miles away. Recently, the town has allowed a historic gravestone to be buried in the name of "progress". No, I'm not happy with our growth boom.
@@RevWarDrummer that’s a shame about the gravestone, I didn’t know that. I absolutely hate all of the excessive growth that we are getting as well
It’s so bad that my girls school don’t even have enough bus or drivers anymore so the buses are always running late, the traffic is horrible
West North Carolina might be more appealing to you, if you are looking replicate where you left

Hi Mahesh! That's great! There are quite a few apartments in that area but also reach out to Acorn and Oak to see what they may have available. Their website is acorn-oak.com/. They handle a lot rentals in the area and might have better prices than the apartments.
