Wow, Marcus, MonoNeon, Vic and Hodge ...that's crazy, pure virtuosity...
And Louis Cato on drums! That dude does not get enough recognition. Multi Instrumentalist master.
I know him for playing with Meshell Ndegeocello. Great drummer. Didnt know about the other instruments. I will search for more info. Thanks
I am back here again one year later, and loving Mono's signature wah wah. I think he's the coolest cat among all these biggies!!
I saw Marcus Miller, Stanley Clarke, Victor in concert, and that was crazy. Now 4 basses, crazier!! But all worth it!!
Thanks for sharing!!!! MonoNeon crazyyyyyyyy
sooo great!
Kevin, your version of this jam is great. We can see Mono clearly and the tunes are complete, unlike the other vids. thanks Bro!
Indeed!!
That's a nice video even i Think that Marcus doesn't need Mono to shine with his bass guitar...
Sublime.
I would buy a record by these two Mononeon Marcus Miller Marcus Miller Mononeon
Niiice!
Crazzy
WYKOMMPLIKOWAŁEM E SPACJAL FOR BRATANEK DANIEEEL
Is that a vintage vibe the keyboard player has in places of a Rhodes? Can’t ever get a full shot of it.
Where can I find the full version?
I don't know if there was an official recording. That's all I have.
3:38 mono 🧯🧯🧯🔥🔥🔥🔥🧑🚒🧑🚒🧑🚒🧑🚒🧑🚒🧑🚒
3:05 lol metal warriors... Nice keyboardist
It appears the colorful guy is out of his league!! Victor and Marcus together they are in a league of their own!
The colourful guy is MonoNeon from Ghost Note, Excellent bass player, when you have a Marcus Miller next to you tend to play your part
Mononeon can easily outplay Marcus or maybe even Thundercat in my eyes, you could say he was holding back on this one but so was Marcus himself (Victor Wooten says Marcus intentionally holds back and never shows his full skill), to me all of them are on their own league way above everybody else
It appears that Preston D don't know nonshit about the coloful guy
@@ActionJotaPe Marcus and Victor resumes speak for themselves!! I'm sure Mononeon does not agree he can outplay Marcus but glad to be onstage with these legends!! I've personally met them all and they are great people! Mutual love and support on stage not a competition!!
@@PhatBazz4 I 100% agree with that statement, I never saw any of this as a competition, just a friendly jam, I wanted to chime in since the original comment really undermined Mono like he wasn’t worthy of being around these legends, when really all of them are in the top of their class as far as bass playing goes. I’m also really sure Mononeon wouldn’t say anything of the sort since despite being a monster of a musician he’s also very humble, I hope I can get to see any of them live one day
They sound like a. Garage band,,,,
,,,,,ouchhh ,,,, I got a sore thumb
This mononeon dude seems more like a brand than a musician... Marcus's playing made it seem like he wasn't even there. But he does that to a lot of musicians lol
have u seen mono play? he was deffo holding back, that guy is a bass God
…
マイルスがいないと異世界感が全く無い
それが一番大事なのに、
BORING!!!
Just imitating Miles bands ,, why not just listen to Miles ,, the real thing ,, so much bull shit
Tutu is the only thing they played that was Miles like and Marcus is the one who wrote that song for miles. Other people are allowed to play jazz who aren’t miles
what are u talking about Marcus played with miles for years in miles comeback band and in the early 80s when Miles composed Jean Pierre..in the later 80s Marcus produced and composed the majority of the songs on the albums tutu and amandla helping incorporate the electric 80s sound into Miles music and introduce Miles to the younger generation at that time
Not very bright, are you? Because first of all, maybe some people want to listen to live music? ..so that being said, I want to give some sad news to you but Miles is DEAD..he cant play live anymore, so it is literally impossible to listen to him live. Secondly, as the guys above said, Marcus played with Miles, composed for him produced for him..so some of the Miles you listen to are Marcus composition. And thirdly..you know....Marcus...is an insane musician and you want to listen to him no matter what he plays.
Given Marcus Miller wrote and arranged the tune for Miles ( who played on it), I am not sure what you are prattling on about...
wow , i'm sorry for you :/ really. sad.
That dude wear all those hot clothes year around.
