- We were asked to visit HC Andersen a very good restaurant in Sunny Beach,, we filmed it last year and made a very much liked video. Sunny Beach has a number of really enjoyable restaurants or bars and this is certainly one of them. We show you a couple of their signature dishes, chosen by the staff, gorgeous beef and tasty succulent chicken. We finish off with an apple pie after lovely toffee shots. Its very difficult to choose something different each time we eat out so it was great in this case to try new things.
There is relaxing live music as well to make the evening go well but I had to remove a lot of it due to copyright issues.
It is the staff that make a business and the staff here are very attentive and efficient but in a very friendly way, like many restaurants in Sunny Beach.
We then head to the front to show how busy it gets at night in Sunny Beach and visit a fun party bar, frequented by the active late night people. Its owned by the nightclub next door so shares the DJ and staff, they know how to make it lively!
There are big contrasts in what's available here in Sunny Beach in Bulgaria so you can pick what you want to try on your holiday. From quieter restaurants and hotels to late night bars and entertainment it's all here.

Great video. My property is very close to there. Food looks amazing. Used to visit there years ago but haven't been back as so many different restaurants to try out in Sunny Beach. May give it a visit in July. 🍻
We loved it so much last year we were so thrilled when they asked us to do it again they chose the dishes, and we were so surprised how good the calamari was. It was a treat but took me a day to edit this one but they did cover the bill, cannot complain.
We finished at a party bar to show the complete contrast you can have in a night here. We have filmed a few places this year and food and service have been great, standards seem to be going up. Last year we binned video when it wasn't great but this year seems better.
@@sunnybeachlife5860 I always walk past there as I'm in Golden Dreams which is quite central. Always seems a decent crowd in there. Will definitely pop in there for some food. Will also pop into the Duck as never been there before.

My parents have just flew off to Sunny Beach there this morning! Told them to keep an eye out for you folks ♥ HC Anderson is one of their favourite places to eat!

I feel I know more about Sunny Beach than I do about Nessebar,which we are going to in July,that beef dish looks delicious,you 2 certainly had a few drinks. I think if I drank wine just one glass I would bevpissed,but I like brandy with ginger ale,and Bulgarian national drink is a plum brandy which is up my street,cant wait
I have home made brandy at home, everyone seems to make it. We have filmed Nessebar over the last 2 years, the old town a lot as it's our Sunday walk and lunch out of season.
I spend one season in Kent England 25 years ago. English people work very very hard and they deserve that cool life. And they pay good too in England
They work many hours and are very stressed with pace of life. Life expectancy and quality of health are falling and they are becoming poorer by the day with bigger bills and higher tax. I do9nt live there now!

We loved it last year, walked past it so often. The food was first class and the service. There are so many here you can easily miss a good one. We took the recommendations from the staff, first skewer like this Susan has had and loved all that chicken. Glad you enjoyed the video.

Im going to try that casserole, what's it called ? Will be definitely going to the h c Anderson restaurant. I'm staying at the smartline meridian hotel it's an all inclusive package but after watching your videos I wish I had booked bed and breakfast now. Do you know anything about the smartline meridian? It was the cheapest on jet 2 in august all inclusive.
Wow so close. It's a kavarma, very traditional Bulgarian. It's really nice, slow cooked meat, peppers,onion and herbs. Always in these pots. Smartline is a basic hotel as it's budget but clean and great pool area. A short walk to our favourite area for bars and restaurants.

Maybe a daft question but is it possible to get an upper set of dentures made in sunny beach?
Yes there are many dentists here. We keep so busy need to get ours done, possibly in winter and not film for a while.
Love it there but never been in the evening.
We like eating out later on and you get the music too.

Yes of course but my videos are watched a year later or more and things change. The whole night would be around £50 UK, we did the whole works.
What draught beer do they have in H C Andersons.

He normally films the street when nobody is about and no music playing. This video took me an hour to remove copyright music and then replace with my own paid for licensed music, then also replace the background voices but I don't mind spending between 6 and 8 hours producing a nice video. I think it shows!
Just a small nit pick, 😂 But it is spelled Andersen, not Anderson. Since I saw the pub got it right, I just wanted to mention it 😊

Sorry I feel like most of these vlogs lately are basically paid business vlogs to promote the specific business, the name of this restaurant on this one was mentioned so many times and over half of the vlog was about it… I miss the original vlogs with walk arounds going into or past bars & restaurants telling us where is good ect 😢
Did you see the video last year in this same restaurant it was the entire video as the staff were so nice, the music and food and it was fun for us . It was well received and lots of positive feedback.It is hard to actually film a business, many hours spent talking to staff and owners and then some saying yes. We then reject those who ask to vet the video first as it would not be a true picture. We are trying to work though the most popular requests this year ie a nightclub, a Turkish hamaon, a beachfront hotel, actual food your served but we obviously have to build trust and a relationship to do this. We bin the video of bad service, poor food or drink, wrong charges that does rarely happen , not what we do. Sorry it's positive stuff we show but it's what we are asked to show in greater detail than from the door outside, it's a hobby for us that's all and has actually cost us so much time money to do. If we receive free food or drinks in the making of the video we declare it unlike most others, sometimes nothing at all but it looks like a promotion for the business I put paid promotion now on it though we get nothing at all to prevent problems. We just have had our biggest month for new subscribers so people love seeing things closer up. Only this year are we now getting asked to film things but it's taken a lot of work to happen

We have, fiesta cocktail bar, you can get a sunny beach life cocktail in there too. Aura at the wheel is great to eat in and nice drinks.
