I married my best friend from High school when we were both 19yrs old. He turns 61 in a few days, we've been married 41 yrs. He was my best friend first and he still is. I believe that is one secret to a successful marriage, you have to like each other first and you must talk to each other. There will be times you won't like each other very much but that's temporary. I grabbed my love very young but we've shared a lifetime together. If you find it, grab on with both hands and don't let go. There's nothing like true love!
Very trrue. You find true love go for it.
Stay blessed

You are very lucky.
Only a small percentage of people in this world find their soulmate.
What a beautiful story. I'm thankful that my wife and my soulmate will celebrate 33 years this May! She had a car back on top of her and this caused a traumatic brain injury 22 years ago and I nearly lost her after her being in a coma for 22 days back then. My in laws kept pushing me to 'sign her death warrant' and set her free so that her 'parts' could live on in the lives of six other people who could use her various organs. This caused a major rift between myself and her family - and she did come back to me, albeit 'changed.' As the years have gone by, I retired to be her full time (24/7/365) caregiver and have never regretted it or wished I had chose different. Her family are still unchanged and we both won't let them come anywhere near us - not just because they were so willing to let her go then - but what I haven't said to this point is that it was her sister who caused this preventable accident from when she handed her whiney 11 yr. old daughter the keys to her car to start so she could have the heater on! The car popped off in reverse while my wife stood behind the car - and the rest is history. Today, we live in the country in a very special place where I tend to our gardens and her flowers and she loves feeding her birds and we are so much looking forward to Spring! I'm the most blessed man alive, I feel! Sorry for the long read. I wanted to write something to respond to this story - I just didn't realize this would all come out! Love the one you're with and never waiver! Be thankful for all your blessings because it literally can all change in a *snap!* God Bless!
Wow! You both are so blessed. May God continue to bless you richly!!!
You're a wonderful man brother! My best wishes and prayers to you both always.
I love you both for being each other’s strength. You have pure love! God bless you both! 💗💗💗🌸🌸
Wow, never apologize for being long winded when expressing you never ending love. I am so happy, something that every couple wish for , not everyone is lucky enough to experience it. Sounds as if you your wife have your piece of parodies, I am so nappy for you. Thank you for sharing .
Wasn't This a Hallmark Movie? lol i saw it
I met my husband when we were 14, had our first child at 16, married at 18 and stayed married until his death at age 62. I miss him every day.
Wow -....
This was a movie
@@MIB-3 are you for real. A child made in love is really all that matters.
@@MIB-3 lol! Really!? You so funny! Or a bot....robot....get it.😂
@@jadepaulsen8456 - a child made at 16 was not likely a child made in love. It was the result of a sexual experience caused by the natural desires of both females and males. I am thankful this young girl grew into a happily married women but that is not generally the case. For every girl who has a baby at 16 and has a lasting and loving marriage, I'll give you many more who don't. More importantly, for every child born into such a situation I'll give you thousands of children who live an unfortunate life. Love at any age doesn't ensure a happy marriage. Love and commitment with a desire to stay married in spite of whatever hardships you might experience is what counts. I've loved three females in my life and still do love all three but in a different way. I've loved my wife since we met and the 52 years we were married. I still do even now - RIP. I've also seen what can happen when a young girl has a baby out of wedlock. It is a personal choice. If you need help with the choice get it.
Me and my high school sweetheart reconnected 25 years later and got married. Had I not broken up with him after high-school we would of been together for 36 years!!! Thank God he found me after all that time. Now we have been together for almost 9 years. 13 if you count the 4 years of high school. Lesson learned on my part. Never let go of a great thing.....
Thanks Please do you feel the same love like before, l have had very bad relationships and after being single for long time now. Allover suddenly since mid December I started thinking about that person and it is Over 20 years now, am I going crazy 🤪 or mad that is long time ⌛️
We got married as teenagers 65 years ago. I had turned 18 the day before and he was 19 and turned 20, 3 months later. We’ve went through a lot together at this point, births deaths, raising children an watching our family grow. We went trough a rough patch here and there when we were a lot younger, but we stayed the course and there for each other and love each other. It’s well worth it….
Congratulations and I wish you many more years together~~perfect AND imperfect! 💕💕
Rare story nowadays happy for ya!
I am very happy for you both. Congrats.
God bless you and your husband 🙏 ❤️
Same here next year will be 50 years.
This was such a beautiful story!! I met my husband when we both worked at the same company!! I was a single mother with three boys and he tried for three years to get me to go out with him!! At that time, I felt that a woman with children would be too much for him to take on!! But I fought it all the way all the while, we became friends in those three years!! But almost losing him to another woman made me realize I had fallen in love with him and couldn't bear losing him!! We got married on Valentine's Day and just celebrated our 23rd anniversary!! Sometimes against all odds, love does prevail!!❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼

Just celebrated our 1st anniversary, we fell in love 30 years ago but he left the Navy and I stayed in and retired so we lost touch but never forgot each other. One day I looked him up on social media and there he was, finally! And here we are in our 50’s trying to make up for lost time.

There is. Never give up. ❤️
Thank you for your kind words. Hello from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪.
I guess that you don't have much free time to spare, while looking after your parents (bless you). And that's why you don't get to meet a lady. But, don't give up hope! You never know when love will be knocking on your door!
We were 15 and 16 when we met. 18 and 19 when we got engaged, 20 and 21 when we got married. Had my daughter after 16 months, my son 2 years later. We have been married nearly 54 years! Knew he was a keeper from the word go.
I met my husband, Kevin, in 1974. I was 11 years old. He was 3 years older. He was a friend of my brother's. Coincidentally, we owned a stable and had several horses. This was in Illinois. He came out there a lot to goof off with my brother and help with chores. I said from day one I was going to marry him. Our lives went different ways as he joined the military, and my family moved to Arizona. We kept in touch now and then over the years. My family went to visit relatives in Illinois almost 9 years ago for the 4th of July and Kevin was living there again. So, we met up with him for breakfast, and I went and stayed the night with Kevin (finally!) Well, three marriages each and 40 years later we were married September 2014. It was definitely worth the wait. We're happy and in love. We've never had a fight; we have too many good times to catch up on. Dreams do come true but it happens in God's time.
How are y'all doing now?
Too bad we don't have the advantage of life experience when we're young and dumb. Alot more marriages would probably last
A beautiful, wholesome love story. This was lovely. For a 51 year old gentleman you've made me have a few sniffles.
You should see the movie. It has the most wonderful ending.

I agree, this was a beautiful story💕She's a blessed woman. I can identify with her in wanting to have real love. I hope I do find it. I just turned 50 this Summer, though I'm told I look like I'm in my late 30's. I was told only a small percentage of the population ever find real love. I pray I find real love.
Amen. My wife and I have been married for over 60 years (and we still talk to each other). I have only 19 years to go and I will be 100 and she will be 98...And they said it wouldn't last but we have 20 something grandkids and 30 or more great grandkids...And the secret is say what's on your mind and then get over it. She has had a cup of tea in bed every morning when I've been home and when I'm away the phone runs hot.
May God continue to bless you both and your beautiful family 🙏🙏🙏

You're a great example
Good on you Larry.
That is hilariously cute! Wow . . . Gotta watch those childhood weddings. I remember getting "Married" as a kid. It was funny. He wasn't into me, but I thought he was cute. He's married with kids now, but that was a trip. I'm glad this character got over himself and realized who he needed to marry. What blows me away is how many people marry but never have discussed the critical things that make a marriage work, especially children! Society needs to get back to pre-marital counseling. I don't know how we got off of that path, but we need to get back on it, quick!
I'm 60 years of age and was unable to find anyone to lean on. Sorry to say I missed out on this part of life. The few I found only wanted to use me. This clip hit home in so many ways. 😪 If you find someone do not let them go. Life has a way of flying by. In the blink of an eye it could all be gone.
I made 11 years to a habitual lier.
Never married again. Not that wanted to stay single I just never found someone that wanted me like I wanted them. Someone of like interest. And I strongly believe that is BIG KEY to a relationship that will last.
At 74 I'm not sure I want to take the chance in today's world, but my heart tells me different. ESPECIALLY when I see a show like this one !
Happy Easter everyone.
He has risen, he has risen indeed
What about God?
My husband and I were equals and were each others best friends ever.
We discussed everything, told each other the truth, and were totally in love and fair with each other. We treated each other with respect and dignity and never said a bad word to or about each other.we did not cheat on each other and compromised when we didn't agree. We supported each other as equals.

This is such a beautiful and romantic love story! We must know who we really are and what we value in life... and find a like-minded partner. So glad this country boy figured it out!
man, I hate love story "romantic" movies, they're always so bad. this seems like a material for yet another very much mediocre and cringy Hallmark or lifetime movie... I was listening to this as a background noise and i didn't find it interestinf in the slightest. yeah, I know all women are supposed to be LOCIN this kinda stuff, because they'll watch anything with romance innit but... well, I guess I'm just a different kind of woman. the one that would rather watch march madness or football game or thriller or horror, I steer clear outta romances, so to me it wasn't beautiful nor interesting in the slightest. it was... well, major BORING Hallmark movie vibes. but like I said, I find all romance movies VERY boring.

*a Wedding Vow at 13 might be not realistic however it is more pure and true than a Wedding Vow at 30's.*
You can't compare the two.
While some people are very mature at the age of 13, your emotional maturity cannot be compared from 13 to 30.
To know what actual true, deep & REAL love is requires life experiences, responsibilities, selflessness & dedication to one another... which you cannot possibly have at 13, because you're not even responsible for YOURSELF at that age.
I know at 13, I absolutely thought that I was head over heels & truly in love, but as I got older I realized that I had no idea what love was at that age.
It felt real, but it was nothing more than puppy love.
When you're in your 30's, you will experience a MUCH deeper sense of love than at 13, because at 13, you're usually still living at home with your parents, you don't have many real world responsibilities & your relationships usually stay on a surface level, rather than going very deep.
Love may be more "pure" at 13, and that's only because WE'RE more pure at 13.
At 13, we still have such an innocence about ourselves -- we're not jaded, or bitter or resentful or cynical from bad experiences or toxic relationships (romantic AND platonic).
However, 13 year old love is absolutely CANNOT be more "true" than in your 30's, because you don't know even know what real, true love is yet, and it's impossible to know what true love is at that age, because it develops over time, and through shared life experiences.
It may feel more "true" to a 13 year old, but nothing is more TRUE than dedicating your entire life to someone else and making a promise to stick together through the good times & bad, no matter what.
There isn't a 13 year old on this earth that should be thinking that way, at that age... EVER.
The ONLY things a 13 year old should be focusing on, are having fun with their friends & graduating from middle school.
You never forget your first love
Can anyone hear my heart beating? It's a beautiful love story. One of Hallmarks' best. I can watch it over and over again.

No matter how you try to show it, these movies show breaking up a marriage as a good thing. Leaving one person for another as something romantic. But in reality, hearts are broken in this situation .
A marriage was not broken up - an engagement (for a marriage that likely would not have worked) was broken up.
Not really. The actress wasn't really in love with him, it was a PR stunt more than love. All these movies show the wrong choice made of career inspired relationship, bad matches, opportunists' people taking advantage. At the end they end up with the right person. Not breaking up marriages, just weddings.
No the other women was a controlling witch who was only interested in optics. Good riddance.

Great story, if only it was that easy, my wife and I love each other to this day, we met when we were 17 married at 20, at 69 we have been separated now for over 30 years, I still miss her touch yet I know as she does our characters are too strong and clash, Im hoping to see her again this year, as its been 18 years.
TRUE LOVE comes only once, so if you have a chance to get a hold of it, don't ever ever let it go👍💖🥰
i agree with you

I disagree. It's possible to love many people. Its INTENTION. IMO, "true love", as in the only one, doesnt exist.
There is nothing true about this video, other than it is a rehashing of a Hallmark TV movie that is a work of fiction.
What an interesting story. I don't know if it's a true life story or a fiction Stories but it's educative and I love it. Most true love situations face financial problems which almost if case's not taken often always ruin them. Wishing everyone the grace to meet their soulmates and live in love till the end. ❤
I met my wife back on nov 1985 as a newly an immigrants in a small island.(territory of U S A ). We become co workers and friends for a year and friendls for a year and 1/2 in a relation and get married after. For 33 years as married untill illness took her away (cancer). I miss her so much
