This is just for a movie trailer and it’s one of the best pieces of music I’ve ever heard
What amazed me is when I found that the composer is still so young! This guy will take his place among the great film music composers - John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, Hans Zimmerman, etc.

This is Goransson's best individual track from the Oppenheimer recordings and it's the one track they didn't include in the OST album. Bizarre.
It's his theme but someone else is likely responsible for the orchestration and composition of the actual trailer music.
He most likely didn't actually write it
I remember seeing the trailer in theaters when it first dropped, the first imax trailer around when Avatar 2 came out. This piece of music instantly teleported me into the world of this movie. I was completely immersed. So spectacular and a true shame it’s not on the scores soundtrack

Sounds like an odd combination of Hans Zimmer's MAN OF STEEL and Vangelis's BLADE RUNNER.

The last Nolan film I saw in theaters was The Dark Knight in 2008...I'm already planning on seeing this one.

This music to me gave Superman vibes at the start. Like you'd hear this kind of triumphant motif in another story.
But the further it goes, the more ominous is becomes. Until it sounds more like the unstoppable monster that Oppenheimer really caused by opening this Pandora's Box

You may regret your actions or be proud of them - but they and its responsibity were yours and yours alone.
