I actually think the actor for Raiden did a pretty good job with the shit show of a movie. His dialogue is pretty good, and dude has some pretty good moves. I think the costume change, and shitty script is what totally screwed the character. Then again, his original costume probably wasn't fit for action sequences.

In this one, Raiden goes to the elder gods but gets asked if he was to give up his immortality for the kombatants, and he did, which is why he went from long hair to short hair.
