    Regarding chat's camel question: Camels do 5 bonus damage to other camels as compared to the 9 bonus damage vs units in the 'mounted units' armour class (CA, elephants, knights UU cavalry, etc).
    This means they do 11 damage to another camel in total as compared to the 13 damage they do to a knight (assuming equal upgrades) So they kill the knights in one fewer hits (10 as opposed to 9). With full castle age armour upgrades and no attack upgrades the camel take 14 hits to kill another camel and 11 to kill the knight. For completeness if you have forging but no iron casting into +2 armour cavalry the numbers are 12 hits to kill the camel and 10 to kill the knight.
    The take away in gameplay terms is: if you're intending to take a fight with 10 camels or more delaying one camel production for forging is a net gain.

    Aaah, I always love a ram push. A Trebuchet has to repack after it destroys nearby buildings, and a Bombard will try to attack units, but a Ram can just be given an attack command and it will wreck all buildings in its path. With one Treb having the gold cost of three Rams, they're cheap enough to be able to afford damage and losses, while destructive enough they can't be ignored. Truly the "Bruiser" of siege weapons.

    Tatoh with 0 trade was a head-scratcher for me. I guess he did have almost 5k relic gold, but still a bit strange for a GL player. Not sure it mattered either way, but all I know is GL boys looked strong on both sides! Great game.

      camels regenerate health, he can have 80 gold army all game no trade

      that relic gold was more then anyone had of trade except viper. And also not investment in trade+pop space

    im just curious but would it make more sense to put up a forward mill by the boar and you can harvest up there. then the vils already up there for the barracks. i know you lose the protection that youd have with the tc.

      1 vil back and forth luring a boar,
      compared to
      10 vils to a fwd mill
      is less idle time.
      If for example you build an fwd mill 100 wood cost,
      and your 10 villagers for example go forward to go hunt the boars,
      those 10 villagers need to walk to the forward mill.
      In that time those villagers aren't collecting recources, so
      in a way in that theory you'd have the same as 10 idle villagers.
      Because they aren't collecting nor building, but walking.
      The triple boar lure with only using one villager whilst the others are still
      collecting at the town center is minimizing the idle time to only one villager.

    Viper me man. It's a 50/50 you get flank, but for you it's 75/25.
    Also think you put your first castle too defensive. I'd put it where the wall was. Had room to move units through choke, and i could have had easy option to take water. For some water offense and some fish.

    being greedy is being lazy??? More skill can be used if 1/4 of population is army at all times. Why not wall up 1st?? A agree that Celt siege is very efficient. Siege only is neither an army composition nor a raiding composition. Was that just a gamble?? There has to be a method to the madness of "army composition". Celt siege with bad trash units is more efficient than Celt siege with nothing else
