      you have the same dates for Hinduism too, they all were written during 12th to 17th century, your veda manuscript only one kept at Pune institute of Bhandarkar is dated by Unesco to 1647, all Puranas were also written during 17th century during the british era

    • @perorenchino2036
      @perorenchino2036 Před 26 dny +2

      @@BanyanVine Yeah a large amount of manuscripts were lost during the turkic invasions. But vedas are far older. Buddhist texts of 1st century and older times mention vedas. Ashoka of 2nd century bce converted to Buddhism. And Buddhists by definition don't accept the authority of vedas. So vedas should be older than Buddhism. So yeah vedas were most probably written during 1200 bce.

    • @perorenchino2036
      @perorenchino2036 Před 26 dny +1

      @@BanyanVine This type of polemics won't work against Hinduism. Truth has to be established by its own merit. Independent of the origin. Abrahamic religions are very very dependent on the source of their claims. Abrahamic idea of salvation is very different from the dharmic idea. Your religion is dependent on a particular belief being True and on the basis of that getting immortal life. That depends on u having a particular set of belief and practice. That's it. There is nothing else. Dharmic idea is very different from it. It's about illusion and getting control over your sense organs. No "faith" is involved here. U can do it in whatever way you want. As there is no faith is being involved, u can't attack the source of dharmic religions. It doesn't matter when it was written or who wrote it, as long as it contains the answers it's fine. So it's a useless polemic here.

  • @WatchingTrainsGoBy-PassingTime

    We need youth trained in polemics to carry on the work to expose the first two types of polemics. There's been alot of great people that used to have that youth and strenght/courage that only comes from that, that have spent their time in the trenches that are no longer interesed in fighting those battles. They did their duty for us all. We cannot let that kind of vaccum form. But it will take larger numbers of people that are still young enough but well informed enough to pick up the mantle in those more dangerous areas. Like he said it's more dangerous, but it matters.
    All these battles require multiple avenues of work that head towards the same goal. Exposing the truth for those living in lies or ignorance of the truth.

    historical research (and also basic logic) proves that the city of Mecca could not have existed as a large commercial caravan city in the 7th century.
    Main reasons for this fact are:
    1) Mecca is not an oasis, so there is no surface water (only a well, known as zamzam which is clearly unsufficient and inappropriate for watering many caravan camels)
    2) Mecca is not shown on any map or any document at that time or even previously
    3) Mecca is located down of Hidjaz plateau and could therefore not be located on the caravan route which is located more than 1000 m above on the plateau (eg the city of Taeef is located at an altitude of ca 2000 m while Mecca is at 300 m)
    4) there were no archeological remains or artefacts (coins, potteries, ruins, bones etc) discovered in Mecca dating from before circa year 700
    It is impossible that a large city would leave no trace at all of its past
    5) no agriculture whatsoever is possible in this wild rocky desert location, how could a large city survive in such hostile environment ?

      @@defenderoftruth3212 But that's not at all Biblical. Abraham in the Bible travels to Canaan, and wanders as a Hebrew in those regions, with some time in Egypt during famine. This land he walked is what was given to the Israelites ... they never have ruled in the Hijaz. If they did, it would be considered part of Israel, and never has been. Mecca in the Hijaz was not mentioned outside the Quran (in a solitary unlocated Becca reference) until 741 CE. It could have been a "mother of the cities" in early paleolithic times, when there weren't any actual cities, when the last Ice Age made it still an OK place for major settlement. We see the glories of Egypt, Mesopotamia and the Indus Valley for the earliest cities ... some amazing archaeological finds, but without good water supply it's not possible to irrigate much, have good food available, and support merchants, priests and armies. Abd El Malik needed a location to place the prophet, the original author might have not been such an impressive person, if his real history was known. The vagueness on the prophet's life in the Quran suggests he had a lot to hide.

      There's also the qibla situation. Prayer walls in mosque-style structures built in the 7C are aligned towards Sinai, maybe Petra, a jewel of a city Arabs were very rightly proud of. Only in the 8C do we start to see the alignment towards Mecca in the Hijaz emerge, with the other location tailing off in mosque designs. The rock inscription in Taif iirc suggests that the masjid al haram was built in the 690s, so maybe Abd El Malik had decided upon a convenient fiction then, but it took some time before it was accepted. The Quran author's real location might cause problems, as then his reputation might dive when local residents filled in on the Quran's narrative.

    WOW! This is very interesting. Christian and non-Christian scholars are going back into history and are arriving in 7th century Southwest Arabia - the place where the “Islamic Mohammed” supposedly lived his entire life - in the Hejaz (Mecca/Medina Region). They are inviting Muslims to come along and to join them in the search for:
    (1) Mecca - the oldest city in human history
    (2) Mohammed - the best moral example for all of mankind
    (3) Quran - the eternally un-changed and un-created book that was hand-written by Allah before creation
    (4) And (of course) the remains of Aisha’s goat.
    *
    So far, these researchers, academics, and investigators have found no sign of a city called “Mecca” in the 7th century A.D., and no sign of a book called “Quran”. However, they have found plenty of sings of other Mohammeds elsewhere in Syria, Jorden, and further North - some of these Mohammeds predate Islam as far back as 1200 B.C. and other Mohammeds whose images are on coins that bear crosses.

If Adam brought Islam from Heaven, it means it is the religion of the angels in heavens. So, when Adam landed at Mecca with Eve, it's Islam that they were preaching. And so did his offspring. **When Were the Earliest Biographies and Sayings of Jesus and Mohammed Written?**
    In Christianity, the earliest biographies of Jesus are the Gospels. Mark, the earliest, was written around 70 CE, just 40 years after Jesus’ crucifixion. The other Gospels-Matthew, Luke, and John-were completed between 80-100 CE, all within a century of Jesus' life. These texts were written close to the time when eyewitnesses were still alive.
    In Islam, the earliest biography of Mohammed is by Ibn Ishaq, written around 767 CE, over 130 years after Mohammed’s death. However, the original is lost and is known through later edits by Ibn Hisham (d. 833 CE). The sayings of Mohammed (hadith) were collected even later, with the most trusted collections (like Bukhari and Muslim) being compiled over 200 years after Mohammed’s death.
    **Conclusion:** The Christian Gospels were written much closer to Jesus’ time, while the Islamic biographies and sayings of Mohammed were compiled much later, primarily during the Abbasid period.

      @@defenderoftruth3212 This excuse about Mohammed supposedly forbidding the writing of his sayings is just a convenient way to cover up the fact that Islamic sources are incredibly late and unreliable. If Mohammed was really that concerned, why didn’t he allow his closest companions to clearly preserve his teachings in writing? The truth is, it’s more likely that the hadiths and sira were cooked up much later under the Abbasid regime, who had every reason to manipulate them for their own agenda.
      Meanwhile, the Christian Gospels were written within the lifetime of eyewitnesses, not two centuries later when no one who actually knew Jesus was alive. The timing and political context of the Islamic sources make them highly questionable compared to the Gospels, which were far closer to the events they claim to describe.
      So no, this “noble intention” theory doesn’t hold up. The gap of 200 years and the political influences are what really explain why Islamic sources are so late and dubious.

      @@YeshuaAkbar7 .........................
      So you removed your previous reply because you realized that you're contradicting yourself. Anyway, to make it clear to you, the main, primary, primordial, paramount objective of Prophet Muhammad pbuh is the preservation of the 'word' of Allah SWT. Hence, he disallowed the jotting down of his 'sayings' (Hadiths) by his scribes to avoid being mixed with the 'revelations' he received. For once this happens, it would make the veracity of the Qur'an questionable and unreliable. So he zeroed in on the jotting down by his scribes on the 'revelations'.
      Needless to say, he has the foresight that if the 'revelations' and his 'sayings' are to be jotted down at the same time, his 'sayings' might be misconstrued later on as also 'revelations' from Allah SWT. Hence, the mixture of the 'revelations' and the 'sayings' is inevitable. Perhaps, this is a 'lesson-learned' he got from Prophet jESUs pbuh. Instead of the Gospel that was sent by Allah SWT that was being written by the followers of Prophet jESUs pbuh, it is his 'sayings' that were written down. Hence, the book from Allah SWT was lost into oblivion. -09-23-24

      @YeshuaAkbar7 Před 19 dny

      @@defenderoftruth3212 **the claim that the Qur’an has remained unchanged since its revelation is more a product of Islamic propaganda than historical reality**
      1. Early Variants and Discrepancies: Historical evidence shows that different versions of the Qur’an existed in the early Islamic period. The very fact that Caliph Uthman had to standardize a single version and order all other copies to be burned is proof that multiple, conflicting versions of the Qur’an were circulating. If the Qur’an was perfectly preserved, why was there a need for Uthman’s drastic intervention?
      2. Missing and Altered Verses: Early Islamic sources, like Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, admit that certain verses were lost or forgotten. For example, verses about stoning for adultery (rajm) and breastfeeding an adult to establish kinship (ridda’) are mentioned in hadiths but are nowhere to be found in the Qur’an today. Some companions of Mohammed, like Abdullah ibn Mas’ud, rejected certain chapters that are now part of the Qur’an, and he had his own version that differed from Uthman’s. This shatters the illusion of perfect preservation.
      3. The Mushaf of Hafsa: After Uthman’s standardization, the original compilation of the Qur’an, kept by Mohammed’s wife Hafsa, was eventually destroyed under Caliph Marwan. If the Qur’an was truly preserved, why was the need felt to destroy this early manuscript? The fact that this version was not preserved indicates that the official Qur’an we have today could have been selectively curated, hiding variations that didn’t fit the narrative of “perfect preservation.”
      4. Qira’at and Dialect Differences: The Qur’an exists in several accepted “readings” (qira’at), each with its own variations in pronunciation, word choice, and sometimes even meaning. These differences are not trivial; they affect the interpretation of key verses. If the Qur’an was perfectly preserved, there wouldn’t be a need for multiple readings. The Islamic tradition tries to spin this by claiming they’re all valid, but the existence of these differences contradicts the idea of a single, unchanged text.
      5. The Sana’a Manuscripts: In the 1970s, ancient Qur’anic manuscripts were discovered in Yemen, known as the Sana’a manuscripts. These early texts show significant textual variations from the standard Qur’an, including differences in verse order, word choice, and even missing passages. These findings directly undermine the claim that the Qur’an has been perfectly preserved since Mohammed’s time.
      6. Logical Inconsistency in the Narrative: If Allah intended to perfectly preserve his message, why was there so much human intervention needed in the early years, from Uthman’s standardization to the burning of alternate versions? The preservation claim doesn’t stand up when you consider that it took human decision-making, selective editing, and political authority to produce the version of the Qur’an we have today.

    **Timing Gaps Expose Weaknesses in Islamic Sources vs. Christian Gospels**
    The Christian Gospels were written much closer to Jesus' time, while Islamic biographies and hadiths were compiled much later, primarily during the Abbasid period.
    **Average Time Difference:**
    - Gospels: About 70 years after Jesus' death.
    - Islamic Biographies and Hadith: Around 150-200 years after Mohammed's death.
    This results in an average time gap of approximately 80-130 years, with Islamic texts being compiled significantly later than the Christian Gospels.
    The long delay between Mohammed’s life and the compilation of Islamic texts undermines their credibility, especially regarding eyewitness accounts. The Gospels were written closer to Jesus' life, making it more likely they were based on eyewitness testimony or reliable oral traditions. In contrast, Islamic sources were compiled 150-200 years after Mohammed’s death, suggesting they are based more on second-hand reports or hearsay rather than direct witnesses.
    The Christian Gospels thus have a stronger case for containing elements of eyewitness or near-contemporary involvement.

      1. **Different Purposes**: The Qur’an and hadiths are separate because they serve different roles. The Qur’an is believed to be the direct word of God, while the hadiths are Mohammed’s teachings and actions. In Islam, they need to be kept separate to avoid confusion. Christianity mixes everything together in the Bible, which is why it’s structured differently.
      2. **Hadiths Are Essential**: Saying that hadiths aren’t part of the foundation of Islam is flat-out wrong. Muslims rely on hadiths to understand how to follow the Qur’an in daily life. Things like prayer, fasting, and other practices come from hadiths. You can’t practice Islam fully without them.
      3. **Intentional Separation**: Islam keeps the Qur’an separate from other writings to preserve its status as divine scripture. Christianity, on the other hand, combines Jesus’ life, teachings, and other writings all in one book because of their belief that they all serve as part of God’s message.
      4. **Confused Comparison**: The person doesn’t understand that the Bible contains different types of writings-stories of Jesus, letters, and teachings-all mixed together. Islam deliberately organizes its texts differently for clarity.
      In short, you’re making a sloppy comparison between two religions that function very differently. You’re comparing things that aren’t meant to be compared in the first place.

      @@defenderoftruth3212 If you think it’s meaningless, then you missed the point. The timing gap between events and the recording of those events is a key factor in historical reliability. The Gospels were written closer to Jesus’ time by firsthand witnesses or those who had access to them. In contrast, many Islamic sources, including hadith collections, were compiled long after Mohammed’s death, increasing the potential for distortions.
      Your attempt to deflect by focusing on how texts are separated or organized doesn’t address the core issue: credibility based on historical proximity. Whether texts are combined or kept separate doesn’t change the fact that the reliability of a source diminishes the further it is removed from the actual events

Mark was the first to write a gospel (?) and he's not in any way connected to Prophet jESUs pbuh. Then a chain-reaction of plagiarism occurred. Matthew copied the work of Mark, although he made some additions and distortions. Then Luke did the same as what Matthew did. He plagiarized Mark's and Matthew's works. Also, he made some additions and distortions. And lastly John. John wrote his work a little late, maybe around 75 to 85 years from Mark. And mind you, these 4 writers spoke Greek. Actually Jay, Christianity did not start from a Bible, it started from a tradition. A collection of Apostels, witnesses and believers. They established a Church from India to Spain, to Ethiopia, To Ireland. Only later the scriptures that served a role in services were collected in a library we call The Bible. Christianity is not Sola Scriptura that idea at it's core is an Islamic Idea... 😂😂😂

    • @collybever
      @collybever Před 24 dny

      I think the Sola Scriptura concept is just really saying don't go off and invent stuff, on a tangent. Like the Quran teaches that Jesus was born in the wilderness, and cried I am a slave of Allah as a baby .. which however has deviated far from the original text, the Messiah was born in Bethlehem and had to be, and was not speaking as an adult in babyhood, with things the like of which He never says in the gospels. If we see Mary in the Bible for instance, she certainly had a very honourable role, but then one sees in the gospels that she isn't perfect, and she herself waits for the coming of the Holy Spirit, Christ is her redeemer. So that would make later glorifications of her, out of place, and unreal. That drift is not a good idea, although drift on the big issues is what is really bad, so for example, Surah 4.157 negates the possibility of salvation [for those who accept its claim], by denying a critical part.

      The facts are these. 1) The traditional history of Islam is in direct conflict with the written history and archeology of every other kingdom and country, including Egypt, Greece, Rome, and the Chinese. 2) If you want to go to heaven, you have to know the real way, not the dead end roads created by Satan. 3) There's only perfection in God. All the contradictions to Islamic traditional history in modern archeology, the delusional Islamic literature, and the pagan idolatry in Islam are imperfections. The Satanic verses, worshipping the black stone, and Al Jinn, ancient pagan gods of the Arabians, plus Allah's 3 daughters names are still in the Quran. Those are the names of the daughters of the moon god, which imports Hermes Trismegistus. Islam admits to being a gnostic, political system of laws, hardly a religion. It's not the way to heaven. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and none come to the Father but through me." If you don't want to go to hell, repent and put your trust in Jesus.
