For English speakers and theological reasons, we say 'brought back to life' (ie revitalisation) rather than 'resurrection' which is a glorified form after death. Neither Lazarus of Bethany, nor the son of the widow of Nain, or Jairus' daughter were 'resurrected' but 'brought back to life'. I have noticed that the Spanish commentary on Los Lajas is not discerning about its description and may be why English commentators tend to adopt the phrases which otherwise should be corrected theologically.

I haven't heard of this.
I am a Catholic author and I would love to write about this alleged miracle. I am a convert to Catholicism and so I am fairly new to these things like the Shroud of Turan and "Our Lady of Guadalupe." But regarding this image I hear of these "studies" that have been done that show the image goes into the rock but I can never verify these claims. They are made by everyone who speaks of the image but if I could get the proof that these studies have taken place it would be great. There is some alleged studies by German scientists who allegedly drilled some cores from the rock to see that the colors went into the rock. But here is the problem: I cannot verify those stories of these people that have studied the image. I hear that there is no paint and that the color goes into the rock. If someone could give me any information about how I can verify that these studies were done I would love to hear about it. The Shroud and Our Lady of Guadlupe have records of the studies done on them, but I cannot find the evidence to back up the stories about this image.
I am Colombian and would also want to have more information about this Image. The shrine is located in a guerrilla infected area. I have never been able to visit Her.
Let me add that the cave where She left Her Image was very difficult to reach, because it opens to the abyss over Río Guáitara. That is the reason why the Basilica had to be built “around” the cave and to reach it you have to cross the bridge. It is an engineering miracle. It has been declared the most beautiful shrine in the world.
@@mariacristinaariza-gomez9871 I believe that. That is one of the aspects of the story that makes it believable. But wow if cores could be taken that show those colors really do go even 4 inches into the rock that would be the most irrefutable miracle of all the church's miracles. No one could that, not even with any technology we have for the day. If that is true I wish the church would make it well known and irrefutable. It would not be hard to examine some small cores or to make the info available if someone has already done it.

I have never heard of the second image at Chinquinquera??? Spelling way off, I’m sure. There is another approved apparition I just heard about. It is in Nicaragua - I think. The message from our Holy Mother is so similar to Fatima that I am astounded I hadn’t heard it spoken about simply because of the Fatima connection. Thanks for this presentation.
