Man, your the gadget king, with the carbon wheel covers, fairing, and fenders. Regarding tire changes I've found that dusting the tube with baby powder works well. Stops it from sticking to the tire and smells great. Love your vids!
Very kind of you to say and I am glad you like my videos, there made for fun on my part. and glad that others seem to like them. carbon wheel covers, No there cloth as carbon is too costly and to be honest there on there for looks really, but they do stop splashing from cars on your legs when raining and help in the wind.
Nice one Graham, some good tips there, thought I just mention when putting tyre back start a the valve, and don’t finish at the valve point... So glad you noticed that sidewall bulge.. have fun..
The marks on the outside of the damaged tire look like it's rubbed on something at some point. Regardless, glad you made it back without a blowout. I carry Park Tool's tire patch, which is a big piece of thick rubber, for emergencies.
Hi Graham, i just took delivery of a used Ice adventure FS 20 in great condition apart from the Flexible tubes on the chain tubes, is there anywhere you can buy just the flexi rubber bit or is it a case of buying the whole kit and caboodle from ice, love the vids, you are responsible for me getting a trike Thanks.
Most tyres, even the dreaded Schwalbe Marathon Plus I can put on with my thumbs. However Continental Travel Contact need a lever, unless you're Geoff Capes.
O Yes nothing there to cures that sort of Damage must have been there for a bit of time and I had not notest till it gave way, may have been working away for some time just did not notice it

Odd that it would just tear like that - did you check and make sure it wasn't rubbing on anything?
