Rush are three master musicians from Toronto, Canada. They had a 45 year career
Geddy Lee Vocals, Bass and Keyboards
Alex Lifeson guitar, mandola and later keyboards
Neil Peart drums, percussion and main lyrist
Unfortunately Neil Peart passed from brain cancer in January of 2020. He is considered one of the best drummers in rock.
That is Geddy Lee's natural voice.
Rush is the thinking man's band. Neil Peart wrote most of the lyrics and he was a well read and well travelled man.
Other Songs
Red Barchetta from Exit Stage Left
YYZ live in Cleveland
Digital Man from the Snakes and Arrows tour
Kudos to you for becoming a nurse.
Cheers ✌️🇨🇦
Changes aren't permanent
...but CHANGE is.
One of the most profound lyrics ever wrtiten.
The band name is RUSH the song is tom sawyer.
That is his voice! He hits high notes. Yes, the song was a dub over. But his voice. The Drummer Neil Peart, R.I.P. and avid reader is the lyricist. and the best poet in Rock.
No voice effect with the singer not ever
Exactly
Neil Peart, pronounced like a pier at the ocean with a hard T at the end, P-ear-t, the drummer, is considered one of the best rock drummers.
To me he is the best drummer ever. Same feelings for Alex Lifeson, guitarist and Geddy Lee, bass.
I saw them in concert 35 times, I never left a show disappointed. ❤❤❤
Neil HAS no 'peer' - t
@@lancewilliams4847 lol… just woke up, it took me a minute.
RUSH was the best show in town. Great concert. Rip Neal peart.
The song is a lot tighter when you’re not talking literally the entire fucking time

Much respect to you for pursuing your education! That degree will open a lot of doors to you for years to come. You need to check out more Rush! 3 of the most talented musicians in rock, with a career covering more than 40 years. Always have the lyrics pulled up, because they're poetry!
Geddy Lee played the bass guitar, the keyboard and sang.
These guys are the real deal. No voice tricks. Watch their live performances.
Tom Sawyer by the band rush
One of my favorite lyrical lines in all of rock, he says "CHANGES aren't permanent, but Change IS"
Rush refused to add a 4th member as they expanded into complicated prog rock mid 70's, insisting on doing it all as a trio. All 3 are incredibly accomplished musicians sharing duties on floor pedals, synthesizer and drum triggers.
Easily one of the most unique rock bands ever and highly respected across many genres from classical to rap.
Great seeing people react ro Rush, but their live performances set Rush apart from all the others.
That was both live and authentic.
Neil is one of the greatest drummers of all time!!!!!!
Great song. RIP Neil Peart!
If you want to see a Great live performance from Rush. Checkout "Working Man" by Rush (Time Machine Tour: Live in Cleveland) You won't be Disappointed!
Dude couldn’t you tell they were recording live??

I understand - I dated someone studying to be an RN and took a look at the study materials once - it takes a huge amount of learning to do what you are doing!
That's all him he sounds like that in concert
You can listen to the same song life in 1981
Rush another Toronto band along with Drake , The Weekend, Justin Beiber , Sean Mendez , Avril Levine, and others
