Strangely yeah. This game is the most anxiety inducing, tense mp shooter I've played but hes calm and makes the game seem relaxing.

yeah exactly, me and my friend were playing and i got headshot out of nowhere and the ssh i picked up about a minute before deflected the bullet so i survived with 2 health on my head, i about shat myself lmao

It's really not too bad once you get the hang of it. Dying doesn't scare you as much if you're confident. If it did then this game would be unplayable.

Definitely agree. I really like how realistic the guns are and how good it looks, but I throughly hate the idea of losing all my stuff. I would probably end up using a pistol most of the time thanks to dying frequently and not wanting to lose anything good.

The increased recoil from the AK with the advanced stock is because the AK is thoroughly disgusted that you'd put an M4 stock on it, and desperately trying to shake it off.

@@TuffMelon Quickly googling the issue seems to indicate that glass is not transparent to thermal imaging. So while I don't know what cod did, thermal scopes that cannot see through glass seems to be realistic
Thermals can’t see through most types of glass. Because of this making a protector for a thermal is expensive. End up having to use expensive materials like Germanium.

I just started watching your Tarkov videos since I think I'm going to finally break down and get it. I gotta say I was a little bothered by the thermal optics seeing through glass on a previous video so I'm glad to see that has been updated. It did kind of crack me up though because at work the most common way we check if our thermals optics are good at the beginning of shift is looking at our own reflection in the glass. Thermals are great for a lot of things but their downsides are pretty severe too. I have no Idea if they've added it in game but at work we have ours on a wilcox mount in front of our primary optic so it can be fliped to the side and out of the way.
Just played reserve on my own a few hours ago and got myself an M1A. Pretty nifty and easy to use

Just so you know, you won't get the "found in raid" tag on items that you put in your gamma if you die. You have to extract, from a selling perspective, it makes the gamma pointless.
gamma is for extra meds and keys, its not for you to hatchet run and shove all the ledx's up ur ass
They are attempting to weed out hatchlings like you that only exist to play the game for money. How is hatchet running at all fun? The devs did not intend on that being a playstyle thus why everybody hates you, and why they are changing the way secure containers work. Just be glad they havent banned them outright.
All items except weapons lose the found in raid tag when they goes up on the flea market now anyway found in raid tag is for your use only (even taking it into an other raid removes the tag) basically it changes the dynamic of the flea market. Selling keys, cards, and barter/craft items is where the money's at this wipe.

I only use my gamma for quest items tbh and painkillers. If my bags full but a couple slots are open I'll shove a screwdriver in there cause eff it.

Super, BIG fan of Escape From Tarkov from 2015-2020 only got the game last month, when I got my first gaming computer. But I'm been only soloing it and it's hard. But still hanging on. (Also @OperatorDrewski I'm level 5 and my offline modes Scavs, even on easy had Gen 5-6 Armor fully kitted AKs or M4 and Pocket full of F1. On top of that Scav Boss are off just regular Scavs. All starting of the 25th of May.) {If need I have recordings of my encounters.}

Hey Drew, Insurgency Sandstorm has released night maps on the CTE and they're pretty dang good! Point shooting with IR lasers + IR flashlights etc.
Are they really IR tho? Have you tried taking the nods off and running the light and laser? Tarkov sucks for that one reason

@@michaeljohnsonbaugh7962 They are, indeed, a solid IR laser beam.. You can point shoot with it, ie canted laser pointer (with recoil that is a balance of ADS/hip fire accuracy.

I dunno if it's fully steam audio, but it's definitely binaural which is.... interesting. Can't tell if it helps or hurts my ability to accurately hear stuffs.

Gunshots are easier to pinpoint instead of saying it's somewhere over yonder in my opinion but footsteps I feel like are a bit harder to hear now and then but maybe it is a thing you need to get used to. It feels a tiny bit better though but it is hard to explain why. It's also hard to comare really because I've played with Sordin comtacts alot before the wipe so I can't really compare it with what it was but I tried both without comtacts and gunshots are definitly somewhat easier to pinpoint.
