How dare you ignore the complexity of this movie, Adum?
You aren't a critic, you're just a chicken...

KOO KOO KA CHA! KOO KOO KA CHA!

COCKA COCKA COCKA COCKA KA!
thank you for watching this so I don't have to
Jesus Christ This isn’t Nostalgia Critic!
Even Jesus is afraid!
Will watch this because Tommy Wiseau
You could have stopped this
Fuck man. I'm a satanist and even I feel relieved that you didn't endure it
''They betray me, they didn't keep their promise, they trick me, and I don't care anymore.'' And then he made this.
I want a David Lynch film with Tommy Wiseau
David Lynch with Neil Breen would be more fitting though
And daddy Derek lol. Or what ever his name, the cool cat guy.
But he was only an actor in this
i kinda thought Tommy Wiseau might be a living David Lynch film
Yes, or Werner Herzog. He'd melt Tommy's brain, or the other way around.
This proves once again that Neil Breen is the one true master of so-bad-it's-good.
Tommy didn't direct this. So we don't know yet.
how could you do it, how could you have committed suicide?
@@lumen8341 Who committed suicide?
He's only a young master yet, he's got some big shoes to live up to. I Breenlieve...

@Spell Heart
"The internet's yiffiest movie nerd"
You realise 1/10 is specifically a score that will make sure that some people will just HAVE to watch the movie now right?
Greg Seastero is the type of person where you feel sad for because he is stuck as the guy who was with the idiot
then made a book about the story and made more money then the book got a movie adaptation and he made even more money not to forget that the rooms still to this day being viewed in certain cinemas
i dont feel sad i feel motivated .
BLUE FIRE yes I know he’s getting lots of money but to be remembered as the guy in the terrible film is pretty sad
@@brendanmccabe8373 I agree. Just finished the book today, and it's obvious how badly Greg wanted to be taken seriously as an actor, even though he lacks the chops. Now he's kind of resigned himself to be Tommy's carer (for lack of a better comparison), since it's likely the most reliable source of income he'll have.
@brendan i agree . but to be honest the only person i truly feel sorry for in the room is the lisa actor and what she had to in the movie was humiliating no one should ever do that even if it means fame or money .she got out with nothing and probably lost the most imo .
That's life!
2:54 "The movie tells you they're best friends"
Wow! Just like in The Room!
your tearing me apart!
It’s almost like tommy wiseau is a bad filmmaker. Who would’ve thought
He didn't make it, was in it.
Except, as the guy above said, he didn’t make it. Perhaps, if he did, it would at least be enjoyably terrible, instead of boring.
Greg tried to replicate the room but he didn't understand what made the room so special. I would've definitely loved for Tommy to take over the writing and directing. Say what you want about Tommy, but he knows how to make bad movies enjoyable. He has like that Midas touch but he can only turn shit to gold.
I wouldn't trust Tommy to make this. At least this will be a shit movie that didn't cost very much. Put Tommy in charge and you'd end up with the same shitty thing, *maybe* get some of that lightning from his previous film, but somehow be millions of dollars in the hole.
You guys are putting a lot of faith into Tommy to make another "The Room" when he's directed fuck all since then. Pretty sure Tommy and Greg got any young director they could find to put in the director's chair while they lead the movie. I mean honestly, look at any "director" that tried to recapture their so bad its good quality with their sequels. Birdemic 2? Samurai Cop 2? Deadlierest Prey? All bad, but lacking that charm that made them memorable. Simply put, it's lightning in a bottle, and we all know that's easy to replicate.
They just need to cast Tommy as the Joker and let him do Joker movies.
No, that’s just him trying to be a shit meme.
We live in a society
The Shady Reviewer that would be fucking amazing
#Wiseauserious
dyldragon1 Fuck off with your unfunny reddit cancer
With every video YMS grows more bitter. He sounds so defeated in this video. Like the torture of bad movies has broken him...
If I had to watch and do reviews on Amusement, Frozen (the shitty ski lift one) and Megan is Missing, I'd probably lose my will to live as well
nah p sure he sounds the same as he always does
He rated a movie 10/10 recently, there are some he likes.
Because he probably went in thinking (as I suspect many have or will) that because Tommy Wiseau was in it, there'd be something worthy of humor at his (and the film's) expense. Then again, all anyone had to do is look at the fact that Wiseau had absolutely nothing to do with the making of this film to know that it wasn't going to be as unintentionally funny as The Room.
okay, this is epic
1/10!!! Not even fun to make fun of, damn dude.
Disasterous Masterson worse than The Room I guess? Fucking hell it must be awful
@@goonsgoons1 Nah, The Room was bad in ways that made it enjoyable to watch. This film doesn't even do that at all.
Tommy Wiseau is still the best Joker though.
Mr.Pat absofruitly, cancel that Joaquin Phoenix shit. #WiseauSerious?
"Yer tearing me apart, Harley!!!"
1:47 Shallow depth of field is the style choice and what it does to the light sources is Bokeh. It was a huge trend in low budget filmmaking like 7 years ago. A lot of people did it because you could get this really cheap canon lens that was also pretty sharp that had this effect and it meant you could shoot in really dark locations with no lights. It was a cheap, easy and pretty look.
I guess they're a little behind the trends.
1/10. Good god, haven't seen that in a while.
A wrinkle in time was only a few months ago
Oh damn, that got a 1 too? Jesus H.
Uh Slenderman wasn’t that long ago
I guess I'm behind, baybay!
I think he gave Unfriended: Dark Web 1/10
At least we can watch the James Franco movie about the behind the scenes. Call it "The Resaster Movie 2: Wiseau Than Ever".

Wowsers, you showed him!
Well now we need full YMS review of this

YOuRE JuST A ChEkeN
So I got the test results back...... I definitely have breast cancer.
@@SuperRasputia Let us never bring this up again, for some reason.
And now Niel breen needs to top this one and steal the Oscar for the best performance. #GoTeamBreen
Breen and Wiseau will never be as incompetent as Coleman Francis.
But Adum think about the memes, the most important part.
Hi, I'm just here to tell you that your reviews give me LIFE. When I'm sad, I go on one of your reviews and feel much better.
Hope you never stop what you do!
If you're ever curious. The round light effect in the background is called a "bokeh". It's achieved by setting the camera to a low aperture setting so the depth of field is much lower. This makes the background out of focus while keeping the foreground in focus to a much higher degree the most standards shots. When lights go out of focus they become those round balls :)
Top 10 brutal beatdowns in anime
Holy shit. I’ve been waiting for this video since the movie was announced.
So, it'll be a masterpiece in 15 years.
I can't be the only one that giggles when Adum says '1/10'
I convinced my dad to watch this with me and by the time the movie was over and I had tricked him into wasting two hours, we both came to the conclusion that it was good... until the actual plot started.
Guess The Room was lightning in a bottle.
So I saw this movie when Greg visited the theater I was in and he showed us a less edited version of this instead of the disaster artist. I would never have expected that the unfinished version would be better. It had less music and none of the crappy effects when I saw it.
those posters (background, font, template) are literally made on one of those free online poster making sites that pop up when you google "free poster online". I've seen primary school kids use the exact template for their birthdays, school and church events etc.
Can’t wait for your next YMS review
tommy is actually just adum’s dad
Now I kind of want to watch it
I liked the amazing interrupt the actors technique Tommy uses.
YOU'RE TEARING ME APART ADUM!
Oh hai comment section.
Alex May You're jus a chicken cheep cheep cheep cheep
Thanks, you sold me this movie!
I enjoy your reviews when you trash talk them :)
Adam, we need the Climax quickie. Please, I need to know whether or not I like it
When Tommy somehow managed to look like Skrillex yelling at some hippy-bum.
Adum, for Halloween you should go as Neil from the Young Ones
OHHH-WAHHHH!! OH HEAVY, HEAVY, HEAVY!!
I thought Adum was Neil?
Somewhere, in the present, there's a director crying after having checked this review.
Oh my god I've been waiting for this review for months now
I knew it would be bad but... wow
Oh Hi Adum
Enough quickies, it’s been far too long without a full review
The biggest oof heard across the youtube-sphere.
It tried to be the room 2, but the thing is, no one can replicate Tommy's genius.
I will give the second part of the movie one of the greatest lines of dialogue ever
“We in a dark room Jon, let us be the light” *shoots fireworks*
YOU ARE TEARING ME APART, ADAM!
saw this film in the theater back in April and the only good thing that I experience from this movie was my theater sold alcohol and I got drunk watching this movie
"The MUSIC is HORSEshit" *shows picture of Adam's close-up avatar*
Ayyyyy
Thanks for the great content.
Werner Herzog made a documentary about Klaus Kinsky called "My Best Fiend"; A film about a director and his favorite lead actor.
It is a genius documentary and Klaus looks similar to Tommy.
I thought all Tommy Wiseau films were supposed to be so bad, they're good.
I'm so sad this film sucks. I really wanted it to be good.
The blurry circles are BOKEH BALLS
I really thought this was going to go somewhere much creepier and more interesting than it did. Homeless guy plus mortician weirdo? SO much potential. Fell asleep before the end.
What a twist
Well geez Adum. Not every movie can live up to the 10/10 that is The Room.
WHAT? Tommy Wiseau is a bad filmmaker? Never saw that coming.
B1G B0SS He actually didn’t make it. He was just in it.
It looks like it was shot on a DSLR
Haha, what a story Adum.
This movie is like the cold tomato soup of movies
I'm the basket ball being thrown off screen up then a new basket ball coming from a completely different angle down shows something about life!!! But yeah great for a drunk viewing with friends.
How could making the film self-aware possibly make it any better? The Room was lightning in a bottle, but surely you couldn’t have expected *more* from this.
Nearly expecting you to give it a 6/10 there at the end
When I saw your profile pic, I thought you were Tommy Wiseau with good taste
I didn't even know tommy wiseau even existed anymore, i thought he just kinda like.... disappeared from existence
Today, Tommy Wiseau turns 68. Happy birthday Tommy, and may you continue to amuse us with your misundersteanding of what consitutes a movie for many years to come.
I was waiting for some concrete examples of how this is different to, and thereby less enjoyable than, the room.
I only saw a trailer for this movie and I thought it was going to be the aftermath of the Disaster Artist movie but I guess it wasn't even that
hahaha what a story adum
I like the choice of background music ;)
A 1/10? Not even a 2 for effort? They clearly *almost* tried as they managed to secure a budget.
Today is actually Tommy Wiseau's birthday haha way to go Adam.
You are tearing me apart YMS
My hopes are dashed. When I saw Sestero holding up that 20 year old meme, I thought they really had something.
I thought Wiseau would have been more careful second time around guess I was wrong
He didn’t even make this one lmao
Ah I wanna trust that this movie sucks but you're a strict critic and now I wanna watch it
Is Adum going to review Hellfest? The second I saw the trailer I've been waiting for him to tear it apart.
I miss the full-length YMS videos.
Pete Rockwell this is a quickie
Damn I was worried that it was going to ride off of the room...
I seriously couldn’t have agreed more with this.
I really liked some things about the beginning but i saw it so i gotta see the sequel
What? A Tommy Wiseau movie is Incompetently written, directed, filmed, and edited? *IMAGINE MY SHOCK*
Lmao Adam almost started to rap during this review like he was MGK and the movie was Eminem.
I went to screening where there was a Q&A with Greg afterward, who said he wrote the script in 4 days......ah, I get it.
I'm surprised they decided to even air this at TIFF
saw this a year ago in london, has it only just come out in the US?
If they would have cut out a lot of fluff and made it just one movie it could have been a little more bearable but you are right: it tries to be a pretentious art film and fails so it ends up being boring not fun whatsoever.
1:50
What you're talking about here is called "bokeh", It's not a shitty lens it's what any lens with a low F/stop (which most film lenses have) will do when there's lights in the background. Low F/stops basically isolate the subject really well and blur out the background big time, that really blurry background then makes all the lights into big light balls and they look pretty cool and dreamy looking. It doesn't look particularly well done in this movie as the color grading is pretty bleh, but I wouldn't exactly call it shitty.
Thought the blacked haired dude was Skrillex and was like “oh there he is”
If that's how you feel about Vol 1. Just wait until volume 2. Without Tommy it gets pretty bad.
i guess it being joyless depends on how you see it, i saw it with all my siblings and a few friends in an empty theater so it was fucking hilarious for me
YOU'RE RUINING MY LAIFE
I can't wait for him to tear into venom
I can't help it... I'm extremely excited to watch this movie.
Review Assassination Nation. For a crazy film like that, I only trust you.
This is how critics felt about the room when it came out. Can’t wait to see memelords say how genius this bullshit is
